Sunrise
The sun rose from the opposite direction of the ocean. Everything was normal, except for what had happened at the beach. No one was allowed to go that far on the beach due to the disappearance of the 2 people a week ago. Mostly everyone forgot about it because they had other priorities to do.
The sun rose even more, and restaurants opened, people went to work, kids played outside, and the palm trees swayed in the wind (Did you know that palm trees are a type of grass?)
Midday
A group of friends went and hung out at a cafe right next to the beach. They had a fun time. But then, a mysterious person came up to one of them and asked for directions to a bar. The friend who was going to guide the person told their friends that they would be back soon. The friend and mysterious person went out of the cafe.
As they were walking, the mysterious person put their hand in their pocket. The friend/guide led them into a white alleyway. Just then, the mysterious person whipped out a knife from their pocket, made a 90° turn, and stabbed the friend/guide in the heart. The friend/guide fell down slowly losing consciousness and blood. They saw the mysterious person pull out a paintbrush…
Later…
“Why is she taking so long? That bar is like a 5-minute walk from here.”
“I don’t know… something seemed fishy about that person… I think we should search for her.”
The 2 friends at the cafe checked the time on their phones and left.
Dorito was looking around when he got a phone call. He answered it.
“D-Dorito…? I- I th-think I f-f-found Maegan…”
“Wait, where did you find her? And why is your voice so shaky?”
The sound of a phone dropping was heard through the phone. Dorito quickly put together what was going on. He started to run around and looking through alleyways.
“Jahs! There you are.”
Dorito found Jahs in a white alleyway. He approached her and saw that she had fainted. He managed to wake her up.
“Hey… what happened?”
Jahs moved her mouth, but no words came out. She slowly raised her arm and pointed slightly upwards. Dorito looked up and…
Sunset
Police cars sped through the streets. People watched as they gathered around an alleyway. Policemen rushed out of the cars and ran into the alleyway. People got through and saw why the police were rushing over.
Maegan was slumped over with a pocketknife in her neck. Cut wounds all over her heart area and forehead gaped open, but not much blood came out. Behind her against the wall was a painting of butterflies seeming to come of Maegan. The butterflies were painted in blood.
Night
2 people walked along the ocean. The moon’s light reflected upon the water, giving it a nice, wavy reflection. The 2 walked for a while. The ocean waves crashed softly upon the shore.
One of the people had a mask on. They looked up at the moon. The light filled their eyes, and they slowly pulled out a machete. The other person looked at the masked person and asked something. Before they finished, the masked person gave one last look and pounced. They hacked away, repeatedly stabbing the other person. Blood spurted everywhere. The person screamed, but it was no use. They were already dead.
Midnight
Blood slowly trickled from Molly’s body. It flowed across the sand and slowly diffused into the water. The blood glistened in the light of the moon. Screams filled the air. Her entire body was mangled. Almost no resemblance to a human remained except for the head. Molly was just a lump of gore, slowly rotting away.
