So when I'm playing Tsw and building to the other islands sometimes when I try to place a block it disappears and I fall.

This usually happens when you are standing over the block too much... if that makes any sense xD
I guess it's like you're on top of the block when you place it, causing it to disappear. I suggest standing back a little, or to the side, and that should hopefully help

As what @IceTheDutchAD and it usually happens when you are having a slow connection and thus the blocks will dissapear one by one
