I like it!
The only thing I'd suggest is making the sun brighter... obviously because it's the sun xD As well as making the "ring" around the sun have less blocks rather than a trail. Just so it won't be too easy to get to the center by building a bridge.

Not bad bassicly what i think the map needs is more texturing
I would suggest expanding ur color pallete to not just yellow and red concerete
Since the sun is big fiery sphere u should use blocks that represent fire(yellow red orange)
but in a bigger variety not just concrete but stained glass, wool, gold
Heck u can even throw in some yellow glazed terracota and sponge if ur an absolute mad lad
but u have to be carefull with these kinda blocks
Also u have to be carefull tonot to over do it with the texturing or in the end it will look weird
So yea to conclued i would just say to just texture the outer shell with more fiery blocks to give it a more sun feel to it
