Chapter 5- A Flashback To Be Forgotten

“Miner, let’s chat.” Ang pulls Miner from Bell and under the stairwell of the school.
“What are you doing?” Ang shouts in a low voice as she points to Bell, making it a bit wavy so she doesn't see.
“What are you talking about?” Miner looks confused. She takes out a pack of gum, takes out two pieces and offers Ang one.
“No thanks.” She waves.
“Continue.” She chews the gum with her mouth wide open.
Ang was about to drop the conversation and let Miner lead the way but she wasn’t about to let her sister Strel down.

“Miner, I know it might seem that you know much more abilities with the powers we both have, and yes, I would like you to teach me one of these days but right now, this is my sister we’re talking about. I promised her that I would be the leader and lead the way. So please, Bell is a sweet girl, I’ve known her more than anyone but, she stands no chance agents what we’re going after.” Ang gives her those sad anime-ish eyes towards Miner as she kept looking back and forth with Ang and Bell.
“I understand Ang.” Miner lays her hand onto Ang’s shoulder.
“But, in order for us to save your sister Stel, that’s currently behind bars, we need an assistant cause heck, who knows what troubles could lead us out there where we both get caught and she could be the ones to save not only us but Strel as well.” Miner gives a long pause, shoving her hand away from Ang as doing so.
“Fine. But, promise me two things, one, we will save my sister, two, don’t invite anyone else on this dicey trip.” Ang puts out her hand to Miner.
She takes a long look at the hand, re-thinking about her discussion on this. Finally, she came to a conclusion.
“I agree.” Miner shooked Ang’s hand and from there, they started to make their way towards Bell.

“Y-you guys sure do take a long time.” Bell looks shyly at them.
“We sure do!” Miner and Ang both laugh as they started to walk towards the exit.
Bell doesn't say anything except walking along with them, trusting them that whatever they have planned, will work.

. . .

So, there I was, laying down on a sheet where probably millions of cockroaches have pooped on. There was no other place I would've laid down on. The floor? Pff, you can forget that. The floor was made out of those sidewalks sewers things, sorta rocky like. Anyways, the point was, lay on that floor for 2 minutes, and your whole body will be turned to nothing but mold on your back.
I yelled and yelled, out of breath, crying until every single tear dropped onto the soaking wet floor that was underneath me. I called “Ang! Ang! Please help me,” over and over again, hoping something would happen.
But, I can only imagine her coming in a unicorn, with a space lazy gun, making a circle with it on my cell bar, and escaping to a world where nobody knew me. That way, I can start a fresh new life, even though I have done nothing wrong.

The sun was setting down as I can see from another person’s cell window that had one. That means, there was no way that Ang can save me at this point. I did my best to calm down and just forget about the whole situation. But, seeing those red dark letters written on that wall with my name on it, made me shiver.
I was so tired of all this bs that by the time I closed my eyes on the dirty sheet, I was fast asleep.

I woke up in my dream back at my school, but this time, it was.. Winter? And everyone looked happy as ever. Believe me, the last time people were this happy is when someone in our school won an Emmy for best acting. Boy, was she amazing, I gotta say.
People were walking to their 3-period class. I thought it was like any other school day but that’s when I noticed someone there, it was... Bear!
I yelled “Bear! It’s Strel!” But, he didn’t seem to notice me. In fact, nobody did. I jumped in front of someone random and that’s when I notice that they walked straight into me, like a ghost. This meant that I was dreaming.
Damn it.

I followed Bear, not only because I used to like him back in Middle School but because there might be a hint on who could’ve killed him.

“Nice shoes you got there!” Bear talked to a kid that was wearing a pair of orange shoes as he took his seat.
“Thanks?” He didn’t look too happy to see Bear compliment on that.
I floated around him the whole period. And let me tell you, it was an awful experiencing; Ms. Smiths math classes considering I hate math.
Once class ended, something unexpected happened.

He stood still in his chair, waiting for everyone to leave, including the teacher. The teacher didn’t seem to notice Bear sitting there as she walked out of the door, shut the lights and closed the door.
I looked up, and once I did, I really wish I hadn't. Cause once I did, he looked straight up to me.
My spine hairs went straight up, this wasn’t supposed to happen. He’s not even supposed to see me!
He looked into my soul and gave me 5 simple words, “He did it to me.”

From that, I woke up the next morning to my pants all wet.
