Chapter 9- The Main Entrance
"What the hell happened Ang?" Miner tries to get Ang off the ground.
"I-i don't know! One second, I was in a dark room with Strel, then, the next minute, I got warned that I should be in a lookout for Amanda." Ang shivers as she cuddles with Miner.
"Oh, that's a story to tell.." Miner tries to make Ang feel better.
"All I know is that we gotta go." Ang breaks out of Miner's hug.
"She has a point, God knows who's tracking us down by now," Bell adds on.
"Yea, let's go!"
Bell and Miner help Ang off the ground, making sure she can get a grip of her balance.
"I'm okay, let head out.”
The group started to make their way once again to the long endless road ahead of them.
2 hours later, 20 miles to go...
"It's been 2 hours since we've been walking and still seems like we're gonna be walking for another 30 hours." Ang starts to complain, her face facing upwards.
"I'm just surprised on how these dudes cars can go this fast just to lock up an innocent girl that didn't do anything," Miner tells herself.
"Heck, this is the USA, get used to it. The politics don't give a sh- about us and yes, they never did in the start." Bell speaks up to them.
"Did-did you just, stood up?" Ang and Miner turn back towards Bell.
"Yes, yes I did!"
Bell runs in front of them and stops.
"This is America, and we're not safe, We never were. So, If I were you, I would find your own destiny into this world. Cause if you don't then sooner or later, you would be begging to the government to give you money. Now, walk along or die!"
Bell rips her black shirt, ties it up and makes a bandana out of it.
*Ecstasy Of Gold starts to play in the background*
"Holy moly! That was amazing Bell!" They both clapped like they were seeing a famous singer.
"It's what I do. Now, let's head out. I think I found an old Ford in the back that might still be in good use." Bell starts to head for the woods to her left.
"C'mon guys, we don't have time to waste!" She reminds them.
They all head towards Bell's direction and to their surprise, she wasn't lying.
"Oh my, what a beauty!" They all say at once.
"What took you so damn long?" A girl covering her face with her hood speaks to Amanda and Ham.
"Well, I kin-" But the girl didn't want to hear their lame excuse.
"Silence. Get in the car." Ham and Amanda got in the car as the girl in the abandon passway stood still for a few seconds.
"Should we ask what she's doing?" Ham whispers to Amanda.
"And get fire? Yea, no."
"You called?" The girl appears in the car in surprise.
"Woah!" They both say.
"That was amazing, Katy!" They give a mini clap.
"Ah, shucks, it was nothing. Now, where are we heading?" And without hesitation, Katy put on her glasses and drove off.
"So, we're supposed to be hea-" But Katy blasted her loud music as she headed for the highway.
"I know where we're going rookie. Why do you think I'm the main leader of this crew? I got Ojos everywhere mate." Katy laughs as she starts to sing the lyrics to the song.
"Besides, if I were you two fried sticks, I would've probably already finished the job before your main targets even left the school." Katy teases them.
"Alright, who here knows how to drive this puppy?" Bell pushes the car out of the woods as she asks.
"I do." Miner and Ang both say at the same time.
"I will," Ang shouts back.
"Okay then." Miner backs up as she finally got the car out of the woods with the help of her friends.
"What about th-"
"The keys are inside, stop worrying." Miner opens the front door as she tells Ang.
Ang started up the car, but, not knowing how to actually start it to move.
Bell jumped into the front, pulled the level and before you knew it, the car started up like they just brought it.
"Damn, I'm impressed that this car still has gas." Ang laid her fingers onto the steering wheel.
"Alright, head out Ang!" Ang puts the car to max speed and fast they went!
It was a long day for them but somewhere, once they found the car, they felt like there was still hope.
0 miles to go.
"STOP!" Miner shouts to Ang.
"Yo, I have GPS ya know, I know when to stop.
Miner and Bell roll their eyes as they jumped out of the car and spotted the gigantic building, guarded by police from every side.
"Well..." They all look speechless.
At that point, they felt their hope level heading straight down the drain.
