Chapter 8- Dreams, Irish, Eat
“Woah, where am I?” Ang wakes up in a dark room.
Ang gets up, all confused and actually kinda scared in where she is.
“Miner? Bell! Hello!” Ang drops to her knees, feeling powerless.
“They can’t hear you.” A whisper comes from a distance.
“Hello? Who’s there? Who are you! Let me go!” Ang gets into an outrage.
The person talking to Ang finally shows itself.
“Hello, sister. I hope I wasn’t a big miss. After all, you guys are coming to rescue me, right? Ah, why does it matter.”
Strel laughs as she floats around Ang.
“W-what do you mean, too late? How?” Ang starts to tear up.
“Now, now, you’re not too late.” She floats back into the back room, completely getting out of sight.
“But, there is someone you should be worrying about, not just me.” Strel scares Ang from behind.
“Hey, don’t do that! And who may I ask?” She stares at Strel from above.
“Darlin’, you would be surprised.”
Strel disappears, leaving Ang there in the dark.
“Hello? Strel! Stop!” Ang yells in fear.
She stood there for a few minutes until she spotted smoke in front of her. From her curiosity, she headed straight towards it.
“Hello, Ang.” The person in the smoke started to rise above.
“BEAR? HOW?” But before Ang would have yelled any further, Bear pressed his finger against her lips.
“Shhh.” Is all he said.
“Let me tell you a story.” Bear floated down as he spawned what looked like my high school along with 2 other people.
“You see, not so long ago, one of your best friends tried to kill me out of jealousy, she failed, and now, she is paying the price.”
Bear then spawns a replica of Evie in the photo.
“Evie!” Ang gets up from her seat but Strel pushes her back down with her powers.
“Like he said, shhh.” Strel reminded her.
“In the real world, Evie isn’t serving anything. She’s just like any other high school girl, trying to fit in.”
Bear then erases the image in front of him and rebuilds an image where the cafeteria is.
“But, one thing she doesn't want you to know is that she sometimes bad to other people.” Bear then shows a video of Evie murdering people by their heads as they begged her not to do so.
“Curling, isn’t it?”
Ang had no words.
“Well, that ex-friend, Evie right there, almost succeeded in doing so with me but sadly for her, failed to do so.” Bear walks across the room, holding a stick in his hands.
“Luckily for me, when I escaped, I promised Evie to never tell a soul if she never ever did that to innocent people ever again. We shook hands, but never talked to each from there.” Bear went silent for a few seconds before continuing.
“Now, there’s your other ex-friend, Amanda.” Bear smiled like a supervillain ready to kill the hero.
“Amanda is many things. Sweet, nice, smart, even dating someone perhaps that you didn’t know.” Bear looks at Ang, Ang not saying anything.
“But like any ordinary people, if you’re too nice in this world, then that means you’re probably hiding something from your past that you don’t want anyone to know.” He repeats himself.
“Ang, I only asking you one thing, keep an eye on Amanda. Muahahaha.” Before Ang had a second to speak, she woke up to Miner shaking her in the middle of the road, ordering her to wake up.
