Chapter 24- Jump Boast
“I swear, if anyone spots us in here, I’ll be glad to blame everything on you, you hear me?” Bell went crazy as for Katy, she could care less about Bell’s complaining.
“You remind me of this one girl back in my middle girl, all annoying and pesty.” Katy kept on her glasses on, making those words more powerful when it came out.
Bell's face went puffy, like a pufferfish but without the spikes on her. She didn’t say anything after that but it looked like she was about to blow from the frustration inside of her.
The hallways looked like an abandoned hospital, all entry, lights flickering every time we passed one of them.
“I don’t want to be that person again but doesn’t this place gives you the creeps?” Bell shoved her hands into her pockets, looking around the empty rooms on each room of the hallway.
“Hm, you do have a point there, this place is rather creepy.” Katy suddenly started to shake as she passed every door, each having less every time they turned a corner.
“We have our superpowers just in case, remember that Bell.” Katy reminds Bell.
“Yea, we do.” Bell caught up to Katy.
Bell and Katy went through more empty rooms, many hallways still passing them and with no exit in sight.
“This is useless,” Katy dropped onto the ground, on her knees.
“C’mon Bell, Miner and Ang are in here, they’re probably in danger by now. I mean, think about it, they would've been down here searching by now.” Bell laid her hand onto Katy’s shoulder.
“Yea, I guess so.” She looked up onto the flickering light, giving a big sight as she got up.
Bell helped out Katy from the ground by giving her a hand, getting up and continuing the adventure in front of them.
It was pretty much still useless since the only thing that came in their ways was either, empty beds, empty chairs, empty rooms, and flickering lights.
“I was about to say if we can turn back but from the looks of it, we would be taking about the same distance so, what’s the point.” Katy looked like she was about to drop onto the ground again but Bell stopped that from happening by spitting out, “Katy, no.”
It was pretty much hopeless for them, but Bell wasn’t gonna let that happen. She the conversation going by telling one of her old jokes. She didn’t care if they were corny or not, she just wanted entertainment at this point.
“Hey, Katy, I got some good old jokes to tell,” Bell smiled, trying to make the situation better.
“Eh, fine, I don't really care,” Katy smirked her face, making her face a funny emotion.
“Wait, do that again.” Bell pointed to her face.
“What, this?” Katy pulled her face down with her hands, making the same emotion as before.
“That’s a good one!” Bell giggled.
“Ah, thank you! Now, you try!”
Bell looked around to see if nobody was around.
“C’mon chicken, nobody is around… hopefully.” Katy smiled.
Bell pulled her hands and started to make funny faces with her face, Katy joining afterward.
“Oh my!” Katy and Bell cracked up from the faces they were making.
“HEY!” A deep voice came from in front of them.
“DON’T MOVE.” The lights flashed black as flashlights were pointed towards.
“Oh no.” Katy and Bell sighed, putting their hands up.
