Chapter 23- U-turn

“Yo um, I gotta get back to school in a few hours so if you guys can let us go, that would mean a lot.” Ang and Miner were trapped, having 5 cops wearing army clothes pointing deadly taser guns in front of them.
“Well, thanks Ang and friend of Ang for coming and restore me but yea, this happened now.” One of the police guards knocked Strel onto the ground, one hit, Strel knocked out.
“Alright, I’m gonna need you both to come with me please.” Two guards started to get closer to Ang and Miner, making a sign of “if you two don’t stop moving, I’ll knock you out just like I did to your little friend.”
Miner and Aang had no other choice but to go with the police guards or get knocked out, possibly even killed.

“Psst-” But even if Ang spoke in the softest voice to Miner, one of the guards overheard her and hit her with the bat in his hands.
“SILENCE.” Even the way he said it, it came out like bold letters.
Miner and Ang didn’t dare to even use their powers.
They already expected they were in some kind of FBI list by now.
Miner and Ang kept on walking when Ang glanced into a window where Strel was being dragged by the hands, her legs also are dragged onto the metal floor.
“Poor Strel, I’m so sorry.” Ang thought to herself, having her head down as they kept on walking with a guard in front of them and the back.
Miner realized how Ang was feeling but what could she possibly do that she hasn’t done already? They were trapped like mice in the cages, nowhere to go. All defenseless and...powerless.

The hallways they kept on passing had lights that looked like they cost a fourteen just by the looks of it. The doors from the left and right all were made out of iron doors, pretty chilly and terrifying to think about but yea. The floor was made out of concrete with white everywhere/ And the walls, oh, please don’t get me started with the walls. They’re the most saddest walls to ever be seen, all gray and dull. Not a single happy color could be seen in prison.
But then again, what did I expect from the highest security prison in the entire world.

“Get in.” I heard a deep voice coming from a man that sounded like he was in his 40s’.
Miner and I didn’t hastated to enter the room for a second. We stepped into the room that was blasted with heat and everything that makes summer look like a joke to you.
“But sir-” I kicked Miner in the leg, telling her what she’s about to say, she’s going to regret it but it was too late, the police in front of us that had his face all wrinkly knocked out Miner with one punch.

“Take her away, and make sure this little one gets what she deserves.” The policeman that had a million flags on his coat laughed in evil as Miner yelled to let her go and Ang being dragged into the heated room.
I was gonna try to strangle to let myself free, even if it cost my life to be knocked out like my other friends but the unexpected happened.
Bangs and gunshots were heard from the upstairs floor; that’s when the alarms started to go crazy, flashing red everywhere.
The police let us go as they went spending off towards the elevator, loading their guns in the meantime.

“HEY!” Miner shouted to one of them.
“What’s going on?” But they were already gone as Miner spoke.
Poof, went the lights. Everything was dark.

“Ang..” Miner checked her GPS in the dark.
“Someone else is here..”
