Chapter 18- Where’s My Head?
With everyone guards on sight rushing down the stairwell, Strel thought of this as a great opportunity to escape this dumb.
Strel looked at everyone hoping to see something that can help her escape.
Nothing.
“Ah, what did I expect from a prison that nobody has ever escaped from, Heck, even if I got out, there would be guards waiting for me outside.” Strel headed back to her bunk, looking disappointed up on the ceiling.
“I mean, I could try the vents above me but what good would that do? I would have to find a way up the walls, also another way to not getting spotted.” Strel excitement turned down as she continued to speak to the ceiling.
“I know my sister is out there, in this very building.” Strel started to speak to the wall.
She then closed her eyes and imagined being in Ang’s shoes at the moment.
“Please Ang, be safe in here. You have no idea how awful these people are.” Strel took a deep breath, doing this for the past 3 minutes until she laid on the other side of her bunk and fell asleep.
“You don’t know that for sure.” Bell points out.
“Honey, I know everything.” Katy started to head furthermore into the woods.
“Like I would believe that.” Bell trying really hard to fight back with Katy.
“You’re a tough cookie, I like that. It makes you feel cute from the outside but really, you’re a failure in the inside.” Katy heads for what appeared to be an abandoned house with unpleasant graffitied on the house.
“Now, let me take you to a nice person that can help you take away that attitude of yours.” Katy slowly floated to the abandoned house.
“NO! Let me go!”
“Don’t waste your strength Bell.” Katy snapped her fingers as she sang a melody.
“AH! AH!” Bell made some weird noise which made Katy stop.
“Bell, shut up!” Katy continued to move.
“AH!” Bell continued to shout.
“BELL! For the love of-” But to Katy surprise, she looked at Bell and she couldn’t believe what she was experiencing.
Bell floated up into the air, the clouds turning into a dark blue sky, rain now pouring like crazy as Bell started to glow up, like an angel. In seconds, she screamed the loudest any person could’ve had.
“I. HAVE. IT!” Bell shouted in midair, thunder sticking in the background.
After a minute, a shockwave demolished every single tree in sight, Bell dropping onto the ground as Katy was speechless, even the guy in the house came out to see.
Bell laid there for a second, then floated into the air and shouted,
“I have powers now!”
Thunder continued to go as rain poured.
God knows how long I have been stuck in this car but once the car parked to what seemed like orange clouds in the sky, I knew I was in the right place now.
“Oh, beach by the day, oh how glory the day was.” The officer courted to sing as he got out of the car, locking the doors before heading off.
Dally broke the glass window in front of her with a bat that was hidden next to the police.
“Oh my God, does my back feels so good!” Dally cracks her back.
“Now, this should be eas-” But one glance at the prison and well, Dally wishes she just stayed back at school.
“Oh no. What trouble have you gotten into, Ang.”
