Chapter 17- Diamond
“This place looks, dangerous.” Ham looks up ahead to see a spotlight shining on the wall from left to right from every side.
“Well, this is the most protected prison in the entire state after all.” Amanda reaches for a position that had red and orange liquid mixed inside of it.
“What’s that?” Ham get a closer glance on it.
“It’s an invisible potion.” Amanda started to open the top of it.
Ham looks at Amanda struggling to open the cap of the position, kinda laughing at her for failing to do so.
“What’s so funny? You like seeing a girl struggling to open a bottle cap?” Ham stopped laughing after being told so.
“Wouldn’t our tracks be marked on the ground?” Ham asks, Amanda handing the position to Ham to open it.
“Ah, I'm glad you asked.” Amanda smiles as Ham pop opens the position.
“I made this position out of everything a normal position would've done.” Ham looked confused.
“What that means is that this position as abilities that other positions can do such as not leaving footprints on the floor. Opening this in your view that a person could’ve viewed in their view.” Ham stood there, understanding a point but now fully.
“Just drink it.” Amanda hands the position towards Ham.
“Well, I trust you so heck, why not.” But before the drop of the position reached his mouth, a gust appeared behind the woods.
“Woah, what was that?” Amanda heads for the gust but Ham stops her.
“L-let me go! I’ll be right back.” Ham hands the position to Amanda as he heads for the woods.
“Nice move back there.” Bear winks at Ham.
“Alright seriously pal, what the heck do you want?” Ham throws a rock at Bear but goes right through it.
“Hm. Anyways, I’m here too actually warn you.” Bear’s smile suddenly disappears.
“Oh, wow. Never heard of you.” Ham's face turned fighting.
“What’s going on?” Ham looks at Bear, Bear not looking happy.
“Listen, dude, that prison over there,” Bear points to the prison.
“Is not safe. Those people will put a hole in your head the minute an introduce enters the building.” Bear explains.
“But, I can’t stop you now can I? Well, I wish you the best of luck.” And before Ham would have answered, Bear disappeared.
“There you are Ham, now, drink this. And hurry up, we gotta go.” Amanda lends Ham the position, Ham not looking too concerned now and actually, kinda scared…
“DUDE RUN!” Ang pushed Miner up, the shadow following up the long dark stairwell with barely any light shining.
“I knew this was a bad idea!” Miner shouts to Ang.
Miner and Ang dashed up the stairs, the shadow being right on their tails.
“WHY the hell doesn’t it have a head” Ang screams.
“I DON’T KNOW!” Miner quickly tried to open the front doors, opening after a few tires.
Miner grabbed Ang by the arm as they entered the room and locked the door behind them.
The shadow thing kept on crashing onto the iron doors, giving up after a minute or so.
“What was that?” Miner lays on the ground.
“I don’t know. But, one thing I do know is that that thing wants us DEAD.” Ang joins Miner as they lay down on the cold floor.
“Where are we btw?” They both get up to appear to be in a small room with 3 elevators in front of them.
“Which one do we take?” Ang starts to head for the middle one.
“Well, in my instance, I think we should take the first one.” Miner heads for the first one.
“Wait!” Ang rushes to her.
“Hm?”
“I always see in movies that the first one always leads to the main entrance, meaning the main hub. The second elevator usually leads to a hallway on the second floor, filled with guards and prisoners locked up. And the third one leads to the main gates or cameras areas of the prison, also guarded by guards but not in front of the elevator.” Ang takes a look at Miner to be surprised that Ang knows all this stuff.
“Woah, you really are a nerd.” Miner giggles a bit.
“Ah shucks.” Ang pushes the button to the third elevator.
“You know, whatever happened to Bell?” Miner looked at Ang.
“Oh shoot.” Ang paused for a minute.
The elevator dinged in front of them, opening up a small room for them.
“We’ll finger that out later.” Ang and Miner headed for the room, closing the doors as they made it to the main floors
But what they didn’t know is that the shadow headless dude also followed them.
