Been crashing like crazy

Every sense the new update for minecraft came out, my game crashes a lot now. I don't know if it's because of my iPad mini, or if it's the new update creating more and more lag. It's even gotten to the point where it won't let me join brlns anymore I'm determined to find out, so if anybody knows a cause of the problem, is experiencing something like what I'm experiencing, or knows how to fix the problem, I would be grateful. -EeveeMyHero

I think it's the update causing lag. And each, I've experienced it.
Fixing the problem... don't know if it's possible. All I can say is, if it's taking too long to get you onto the server, clear Minecraft from your recently-played-apps-thing and try again. It works for me, usually.
