okay i was playing with my friend in hide n seek and she said to go to settings and change your mode to creative. I did that and I could fly? idk if that’s a glitch or something but I got banned.

They did say about the creative glitch (which if you Sprint while flying you can enable to fly faster)

I’m not very sure, but I’ve seen it multiple times.. whenever they fly up too far then it kicks them.

If what he is saying is right then his ban should be reduced to 7 days: Glitch exploitation. The Watcher only kicks you if u fly more than three blocks higher for more than 3 seconds and it takes time to realize this.
