I have a question, what is the difference between Player Report and Ban Appeal?

Answer:
On Player Report there is 1 report, 1 reply and the thread is lock...
On Ban Appeal there is 1 request, 1 player tagging the staff, 1 Dat_Cool_Dude saying everything comes to his mind, 1 player acting like Staff, 1 player banned saying "unban me' and 1 Dat_Cool_Dude saying "create your own ban appeal"... BUT, there isn't always the Staff.


  • First idea
Make Ban Appeal as Player Report, when a player create his own Ban-Appeal, give the Ban Info, give the Staff answer about the ban :) and lock the thread :laugh:

Staff, you will probably say "we are not robots, we can't come immediatly, we have a life" and I agree :) but, there is always a moderator online, and when he/she manages a Player Report, she/he can go see if there are news Ban Appeals, and reply to them... That will help players, they are sad because they are banned and they need to wait forever for a reply that will never happen, so, they are more sad :(


  • Second idea
Unban people that are admitting and desolate about they hacked (of course, only if they admitted since the start, not after the moderator) :)
Because if they took the time to create an account and create a Ban Appeal, it proves they love the server and they want to come back...


  • Third idea
Can you do something about people that are spaming on Ban Appeal? thx, because it is annoying for people banned to see player discussing on their Ban Appeal :)

@Staff, if you speak about this thread on Staff convo (I hope you will), please don't be rude to me :(
I am doing this thread because I think that but I am affraid of what you will say ;-;

I don’t handle player reports, which is the main reason why I don’t unban players .-. I only give my opinion on the case .-.

Idk... there is a Huge Difference between a Ban Appeal and Player Reports so It would be confusing to Some People.
Ban Appeal means You Got banned and you wanna get Unbanned by telling your reason.
Player Report means Reporting someone who "Broke" the server Rules. :)

When a member of Staff is looking into Player Report, he answers to a report "right away", he doesn't procrastinate...

I don't want you to reply in 2 seconds to a Ban Appeal, I know you can't do that, you have a life. I would like you to answer to the Ban Appeal when you see it :).

Sometimes, when someone creates a Ban Appeal, I see a member of Staff on "User Viewing Thread", but he leaves after 5 minuts, without answer. And that isn't nice for the player that is waiting for a reply .-.

not needed actually, staffs react faster in player report because someone need to be stop immediately in order to keept the server nice and clean, while in ban appeal, i would say 95% of the people who make ban appeal deserve the ban and most of the time they dont get unban, so there is no need for staff to check that quick as the player report

Everybody is spamming, Dat_Cool_Dude insults the player and say nonsense, Mr CupCake tries to help, Dat_Cool_Dude tags vertx, the player doesn't understand what happen and reply to people but not to Ray (which is the only thing he has to do if he want to be unbanned).

The player wrote this Ban Appeal sunday and we still doesn't know why he is banned.

I think the Staff should only allow people tagging the Staff and saying to follow the correct Ban Appeal format.

If a player is spamming or saying something Off Topic, he should have a Warning Point (nothing if it is the first time).

when we come to a ban appeal we have recently been seeing it either flooded with random conversation or multiple users trying to help manage the report without a staff member.

If staff have already been tagged then leave the appeal for a staff member to handle.

This thread is honestly pointless, they’re banned for a reason. Ban appeals aren’t our first priority just because someone decided to break the rules. They can wait.

Player reports
Bug reports
Support
Announcements
suggestions that isnt bed wars
Map subbmissions - ban appeals of friends of staff
Off topic/ general etc
Appeals of pros - appeals of noobies

Yeee ._. Some staff are equal to all tho
