Hi guys, welcome to my first thread in the "off topic" section.
Today i'll be shedding light on some issues in things i'll post from time to time under "Awareness"
Firstly, check in question
Do you know how much water ya'll use?
An average American uses 100 gallons or 378 litres of water everyday.
Secondly, the issue at hand.
I believe many of you might not have heard of this issue before.
It is about the Cape Town water crisis. Water is soon running out and if water goes below the 10% mark in the resevoir, people will be only allowed a ration of 25 litres of water every day (Morris, 2018, Telegraph). Day Zero will be on April 12th unless people do something about it.
Here's a useful video link.

Thirdly, why you are reading this
Most if not all of us have access to clean water everyday, but have we taken things for granted? Water is wasted by many of us everyday, and it is disheartening to see people wasting buckets of them, when all some people may live on is just a bucket of water.
Could all of us just take simple steps to save water? For example brush using a cup of water instead of a running tap, or take shorter showers.
Here are some tips.

Finally
I really don't care if hardly anyone reads this, i just want to let some of you caring people be more aware of society's issues. Please. The next time you get to enjoy something, never take anything for granted.
Peace
