Auto Eat

Auto eat is nice compared to the default system for hunger and healing. Like what if you fight but oh no, you aren't at full hunger and the opponent is. Then they regenerate while you can't unless you take a bunch of blows and eat. Auto eat also makes combat longer which is what I like and auto eat nerfs those situations when you fight one dude but then another just comes 5 sec later to kill because you can heal instantly.
Personally if you want less of a "who has more food wins" situations then just allow players to get food after they kill enemies, so the person with a higher chance of winning is the skilled one w more kills.
