I had an art show today and had my hair up in a pony, and for some reason I Felt compelled to draw myself with this hairstyle. The dots are there, I do that makeup a lot. Enjoy this photo of me I guess

Well keep in mind not only am I going to college for art, but I’ve been drawing my entire 18 years on this planet. It depends on what kind of art you are doing, but circles are always included in my art. I use them to sketch out the layers, I use them for eyes, I use them for everything. All that’s needed is a little practice, and you’ll be drawing crisp circles in no time

I only do my brows everyday, not the dots. The dots and any other makeup I put on is more if I’m up early enough to actually do it (which is usually never to be brutally honest here) and my hair.... oh my goodness my hair is thicker than skin. I have a full around shave, meaning both my sides and the back of my head are shaved (like a man bun) yet yesterday I had to brush my hair 4 times because it got so knotty, and I broke 2 hairties. I have such thick hair for not having a lot of hair...

Digital art is not as easy as some precieve it to be, it takes patience and a hint of skill to know what tools and techniques to use, because it’s not the same as traditional in any way. I adapted 2 different art styles with my traditional and digital, which isn’t always the answer but it works for me

As did I, until I started and realized how... terrible I was. These 2 works are my examples of growth, from 2016 to now. I’m not saying I’m all hail merry here, but I am saying more for everyone out there that digital art is a lot harder than it looks, I mean my stuff was absolute trash before I took it seriously... like what was my shading back then? Yeet
