This was my first time drawing an anthropomorphic character and I'm quite proud with how it turned out. There is a description and a backstory to him but I don't want to type the whole thing out (it's like two pages) and have nobody read it. So... here's a summary. (I shortened it as much as I could, okay?)

-----------

A Lupus Persona (meaning "masked wolf" in Latin) is a predatory nocturnal creature which is native to forests. They are most known for their "masked" face looking eerily similar to a skull. However, their mask is nothing more than a calcium buildup to protect their face when attacking or from bright lights.
Bright lights and loud noises will overwhelm this creature as vision and hearing are their strongest senses. They do not need any light as their eyes are very strong in the dark. Too much light can blind them. The skull acts as a sort of shield to the lights but their ears are still vulnerable.
Masked wolves are highly territorial, so they will fight off anyone who wishes to claim their land. Strangers are allowed into their territory only if they are crossing over, but they will have watchful eyes on them.
Despite their hostile appearance, masked wolves will only attack when they are hunting or they feel provoked. They only hunt and eat what they need as they are not evil or greedy. They usually do not harm humans because we share similar features to them. However, this will not excuse you from the consequence of harassing or chasing them around.
Legends state that masked wolves have some weak magical powers, such as the ability to heal wounds quickly, a strong sixth sense, and telekinesis. However, some speculate that instead of telekinesis, masked wolves communicate using body language since they have no vocal cords.
The wolf you see in the image is holding a rose because this is how the show affection to mates or loved ones. Masked wolves mate for life, so if their partner dies then the other wolf will live alone for the rest of their life. To choose a mate, a lone wolf will search far and wide untill the find the perfect flower (usually a rose or poppy) and deliver it to their loved one. If they accept, then the pair will have a single pup and the family will live in the biggest territory that a parent owns.
