Who she was, and who he will be.
Ima explain Jex for anyone who wants to read, because she’s the character people know most and I feel knowing her past will allow you people to understand her a little more.
For anyone new to this character of mine, Jex DeGourge is a transgender rose quartz cat who served in the military and risked her life to save her now lover from a defective bomb. Jex didn’t transition though till after the war, because at the time it was illegal in her gem capital to change genders. All HIS life, he struggled with who he was, and being a corrupted gem didn’t help, which is why he chooses to hide his gem (it’s in his eye if you didn’t realize) Jason was the... “mistake” of the family, with an older brother and a younger sister. His mother was supportive but confused what Jason was going through, and his father... oh man his father was and still is a piece of.. feces. Jason and his father, Tyranus, never got along...
It is in fact Tyranus’s fault for Jason’s corrupted gem, for Tyranus betrayed his clan during the war he fought in and a witch cursed his gem, cracking it and making him rather hostile if not treated. He then met Amalax, a beautiful simple rose quartz cat, and later got married and had 3 children. Adarius, Jason, and Mirax.
Adarius: a quirky little punk who loves everything heavy metal and body mods. I currently don’t have drawings of him now, for he is currently 30 years old and is the ceo of a high end bank. Haven’t gotten around to it cause I got stuff to do.
Jason: a child who wasn’t supposed to be a boy. Tyranus wanted a little girl, and instead got a scronny little cat with the only defected gem in the family, having it in his eye rather than his chest which is where their gem is supposed to be located. Currently JEX is 26.
Mirax: a beautiful little girl who was immediately attached to her father. They were like 2 peas in a pod growing up, and she grew up to be a really athletic little gal who is now 20.
Tyranus: Father,y figure that really shouldn’t of been. He’s nothing but a rude piece of ____ to his wife and is very rude and abusive towards Jason, but loving to Adarius and Mirax. He is dead, but he would be 54.
Amalax: a caring mother that never understood Adarius or Jason, but always got along with Mirax. Adarius is gay, and Jason is trans, but Mirax was the golden child that got everything, while adarius got sloppy seconds.. and Jason got pretty much nothing. She’s also dead, but would be 49 now.
You can clearly see who got all the love, and who was casted out. It was so bad that Tyranus would beat Jason in anger that he wasn’t who Tyranus wanted, hence the fresh scar on his eye, and it got to the point to where Jason was so abandoned that he ran away from home at the age of 16 and joined the military since he was old enough, and had nothing to turn back to. Adarius grew up and went to college to get his masters in mathematics, and Mirax.. is missing.
Now, I say missing, because when she was 16, Jex was 22 and Adarius was 26, their family home was set ablaze, killing both Tyranus and amalax. It is said that Mirax ran away, unable to deal with the loss, and Adarius was in college, so JEX was left to deal with what they left behind. Jex spent 4 years in the hospital, and the fire caught right after she was released, and to this day, nobody knows what happened or what/who set the fire.
I know where Mirax is, and I know what happened in the fire, but that is for me to know and for you to find out
not even Brandon knows, and I’m choosing not to tell anyone because the best prize is a SURprise, as Willy Wonka would say...If you chose to read and you’re here now, I hope a little background showed you a visual of what really goes on behind jex’s Life. I don’t think it would be ok to explain what happened to Jason when the bomb went off, for I don’t need to be banned or anything... so... just imagine the front of your body being ripped off. That’s all I’ll say.
Sorry for rambling, I like talking about her. There’s more to her, but for now.. here’s Jason, and Jex.
