I can’t take it anymore.
I want to leave, but I’m addicted. MB used to be a place of fun, but it seems like no one HAS fun anymore. It feels like it’s a contest to see who’s best.
But in the opposite way as you think.
You may think to yourself, the way to be the best, is to work hard to practice pvping, trying to make yourself better.
But really, it’s more of a game of lying, manipulating, and basically life.
If you have no friends on the server, no one wants to be your friend unless you have a letter by your name. People see you more as an exp boost, or a free win.
And when you speak out, no one agrees with you, because they know deep down in their hearts they don’t want it to change, because that means they will have to suffer the same s♥♥♥ as everyone else. So they ignore you and purposely do the wrong thing, and forbid you to be a part of your group.
And most people might think, why so serious on a block game? Well staff, why’d you work so hard to use your time to help people out on a block game that you’ll probably give up on in 2 years? Why do a lot of you act serious to maintain the archetype of a strict teacher. If you’re so serious about moderating a block game, I bet it will be a great use in the future (this is why you work at subway hazard).
The worst part is the hypocrisy. Everyone calls each other out of targeting, camping, lava camping, bowspamming, and all sorts of things, but they secretly do it themselves. Which is how the best are noticed as the best. They gang up on you and call you out, thus making everyone hate you more and causing you to sadly log off, because bullying only applies to when it happens to you. And when you argue back, it’s basically the person with the most friends. If you have no friends who give a s♥♥♥, it’s hard to do anything. The most popular get away with everything.
If you kill a person who doesn’t get killed much, enjoy. They will call you camper, targeter, hacker, and even if you’ve only killed them once out of the thousand of times they’ve killed you, they will target you, because no one likes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ archer.
MB is really just a popularity contest. The more friends you have, the more successful you are.
