Any tips for skywars players like me.

i have been struggling in skywars. I get killed alot. TBH its quite embarrassing, is there any tips to improve my gameplay or strategies. If so please comment down below. I have killed someone before but that was rare.
 
1. don’t rush unless you think your good enough
2. stack up on food
3. stack up on blocks
4. when you see a legend in your game, leave immediately
5. dont enderpearl early game?
6. dont vote for small maps

~Stack up on food (I grab all the food I see, even if its not good like raw food).
~Constantly check behind you to make sure people aren't sneaking up on you and know we're people are.
~Have a good kit (I suggest Pyro, but whatever suits you).
~Have your volume up and listen for the sound of ladders if you're underground mining, enderpearls or people taking fall damage.
~Slowly turn your sensitivity up.

I'm not too good at Skywars, but that's what I do :)

recommended sensitivity at 3 (or 29 if you're on the newer version) xD

I’m not the best at SkyWars but I have a few tips.
First off, organize your hotbar. Have a ton of food in your hotbar, blocks, one good weapon, pearls for backup, and a gap.
Second, have a surplus of food. For me, I do raw and cooked just in case I’m going to be in a huge fight.
Third, always try to get at least a diamond sword, iron sword, or simply a stone one.
Fourth, always have a compass; the compass will show you the direction of the nearest player. Use the compass to track down players, or to know when a player is near you.
Fifth, have a good kit. I suggest buster because of three things:
-gives you okayish armor
-three pieces of steak
-great kit for the maps with few chests
Or have pyro, but be cautious of rushers.
Sixth, always have volume turned up.
Finally, have good settings. I won’t be specifying an example because the setting depends on the player, different people like different settings.

One last thing, always have a plan or strategy for the game. I won’t be specifying a strat because it depends on the map and your device.
