I find it really idiotic that new players have a decent chance of facing an experienced-leaderboard-has-no-life-mineman. It ruins the gaming experience, so people leave and never come back or in some cases start cheating which is even worse. To prevent all the above from happening matchmaking should be based on players' stats (amount of wins and win rate).
What i basically suggest is to add something like categories such as "new", "intermediate", "expert" etc. Matchmaking will be based on these categories. The higher your stats, the higher category you have.
It obviously won't wipe cheaters out, but i believe will significantly decrease their amount, therefore less work for staff members and an enjoyable environment for everyone :]

I agree!
Kinda like Crews. But still, ye. Would a "new" player be levels like, 1 - 50, and intermediate be 50 - 100, and pro 100 - 500, and 500 - 1000 be expert, then 1000+ be Master

idk, nice suggestion tho, it would decrease the amounts oh quits and hacks. Maybe even rewards that come with it too

Ranking systems only work on massive servers. Plus then finding a match in PVP games would take forever. For me I always liked fighting better players when I was a noob so I could get better. Plus BrokenLens PVP system is quite forgiving and easy to learn so that's good for new players. I remember when I joined last summer and I was so bad, I had a hard time bridging. It was quite easy to learn for me and I love that. I think that a rank based system wouldn't work.

Imo new players need space for growth. Things that were easy for you might not be quite easy for everyone, otherwise there wouldn't be so many cheaters.
I thought about player count and time it would take to find a game. They can lower requirements for timer to become shortened or something, not a huge problem

It’s nice you are suggesting new ideas but how are you going to get better at pvp if you pvp the worst of the worst. you’ll just get used to fighting the people who are bad at pvp then when you try to vs good people you’ll go back and fight the people who are worse at pvp because it’s easier.. sorry if it didn’t make sense lmao

This wouldn’t exactly work because I’ve seen people like xxlifexx who are only lvl 100 but r super godly

i agree!
you need to play with people, and once you get better, it'll get harder!
this makes you move at your own pace!
i get realllyyy triggered when i play people that are super good, so playing with people that aren't that good, like me, would be great!

I would disagree only because I hate fighting really good PvPers. Just because I may be a high level doesn’t necessarily mean I am super skilled, if that makes any sense.

Why do you all assume that by saying "stats" i meant lvls? What i actually meant is the amount of wins and win rate, because that's how ranking systems work guys :\

I really disagree. Status doesn't equal Skill. And this would be very unfair to many players. Not only that as they said this will cause games to take forever to join as many people differ in rank and a lot of people are grinding higher levels rn.

This will be hard for players to join their friends and cause turmoil in the forums and a lot of complaints. Also I can see people being very offended by this turnout as well,as I said your level doesn't equal your skill.

Also this will cause a lot of games to die because no one will be able to join.

As this is a wonderful thought there are a lot of cons to it... This will effect many players.

Even still when you talk about the Rankin system and the amount of wins and losses. This can even go into that category as well. Just because we don't have that many wins doesn't mean anything. You can always work hard to get wins and many times it's very easy to get them. We can't only go off the ranking system because that will be a lot of work to go into actually adding this idea in game. And we'd have to update the ldbds so that they match the rank systems.

Still people who are new and are friends with experts will see this as unfair, confusing, and get easily offended by this new addition.
