Adding Bedwars and The Sky Guardians

I just want you to know about how great your server is... But... Theres a problem...
Hackers!!!
Yes... Hackers... The scourges on every Server. This war of players and hackers ahave been going for ages... That is the No. 1 thing on why players are quiting Broken Lens... But does this mean that the Hackers have taken over Broken Lens?
No!!!
Because i have an idea...
Since Hackers have now existed. They have a greater advantage on other players who dont know how to hack. This makes the game unfair. Though a hacker's powers are limited. They can still take damage and cant insta kill player. Through my life time i have saw hackers act. My observations are:

-They can still fall into the void (Skywars)

-Their powers are only:
●Super Jump
●The Dreaded Flying
●Go through walls
●Super speed
●The Unstoppable Fire or Enchated Sword

-And also they become notably stupid when they are being reported by a dozen players


And yes we can report them. But. It takes time for the process to ban these hackers. My plan is to add this thing called... Sky Guardians. Yes... Sky Guardians. Since hackers only appear in Skywars and Team Sky Wars. I made the name Sky because of Sky Wars. They will have an item that will show on what their game modes are on. Example. A player named Frost_Legionaire is promoted to Sky Guardian. Then i will have an item (Ex: Cactus Green) and its name says "Anti Hackers" Then i will click it and it will show everyone's game modes. Ex: I see all players are in survival mode Then it will show the word Survival in color green Under the name of the player. But if Creative. It will show a red text that say Creative! Under the name of the player then he will click it (Please allow this on mobile devices too such as Tablet or Ipad) and it will say "Bann him? YES or NO?" Then if yes it will automaticaly ban the player from the server. And then Walla!!! Hackers are gone!!! This will scare the hackers and force them to play fair. Hacker issue Solved



Now for Bedwars

I dont need to explain this that much because most of you guys know it. But i was wondering why Broken Lens did not added Bedwars. Bedwars is a pvp minigame. Each team will get supplies (Iron and gold) in their starting island in a location Ex: Gold ingots spawn in gold block and Iron in Iron blocks. Then they will buy from merchants blocks to protect the bed. Now for other things... Emeralds spawn in the center island in the center. And the diamonds spawn next to the starting islands of every team. Now for combat-

Emeralds are the most valuable supplies and is used to purchase diamond sets and obsidian blocks. But emeralds are slow for to spawn because they are the most valuable thing in Bedwars. When a team's Bed is destroyed they can no longer respawn and when dies is a loser. But the merchants in the start dont sell diamond sets instantly. You have to collect 20 gold and upgrade your shop. And 15 gold to reduce the time of gold to spawn. Because gold can buy iron sets. Iron can buy Stone and chain sets until below. You can watch other feature on youtube about Bedwars and with this i think this will improve Broken Lens =D Thank you

Hello. I have read your comments and i did indeed checked the post i made. And the most problems i saw was the Sky Guardians. You cannot ban players in Survival mode too. And also when i watch youtube most hackers go to creative mode. Or you can just replace the gamemodes with Not cheating or cheating. I can still make some more changes to this until this becomes Valid.


And also i added some for Bed Wars
Hello. Since I asked the adding of Bedwars. I was actually thinking about the prices of armor. I’m using the methods from Blockman multiplayer. If you don’t k now that app. You can check it in the appstore or google play. Now. I will start by the spawn rate of ingots and gems.

Iron ingot-3 seconds

Gold ingot-10 seconds. When upgraded gives 2 gold every 10 seconds

Diamonds-25 seconds

Emeralds-33 seconds


If you are willing to apply changes to these. You are free to do so

And now for the armor.


Leather Armor and Wooden tools-

5 iron for boots

10 iron for pants (Leggings)

16 iron for a tunic (Chestplate)

6 iron for a cap (Helmet)

4 iron for wood sword

6 iron for pick axe

5 iron for axe


Chain armor and Stone tools

7 iron for greaves (Boots)

14 iron for Leg guards (Leggings)

22 iron for Chainmail (Chestplate)

8 iron for a Chain Helmet

5 iron for stone sword

7 iron for stone pickaxe

6 iron for stone axe


This is where it gets strong

Iron armor and tools

5 gold for greaves (Boots)

7 gold for plated leg guards (Leggings)

8 gold for Chestplate

3 gold for Helmet

2 gold for sword

3 gold for pickaxe

4 gold for axe


Diamond SET!!!

Same as iron armor but uses emeralds instead


Now for blocks

1 iron= 4 wool

4 iron= 4 terracota (Clay)

4 gold= 4 stone bricks

4 diamonds= 4 Endstone/ Nether Bricks

1emerald= 4 obsidian


For misc.

Im sorry but we have to exchange diamonds x10 instead of 20 gold to upgrade the shop

4 gold= 1 bow

4 iron= 10 arrows

3 gold= flint n steel

5 diamond= Upgrade gold spawn rate

7 diamond= Throwable ghast balls? I think. Anything that can be thrown and explodes


I hope this will help improve Broken Lens. You can make changes to these if you want to.

giving normal players staff is a terrible idea. you cant trust that normal players wont abuse the ban ability
saltiness/toxicity will result on lots of false bans
better to let staff handle the reports
just get proof and leave the game of you can't kill a hacker

bedwars has been suggested a lot, i think it's unlikely that it will be added, but you never know

Um, the Sky Guardian feature of an item to check gamemodes doesn't accomodate with other forms of cheating. It's flawed when it comes to, I think, almost all the included cheats you mentioned.
Super jump doesn't require a change in gamemode and same with super speed. I don't think flying and No-Clip require Creative mode either. Only Enchantments and (maybe) Duplication are cheats that can be dealt with because enchantments require creative and you can not get them normally in servers. Duplication also (in a way) requires Creative mode to receive the few items they need to piss the entire community off.
I also want to mention other cheats that your suggestion may not be able to do. These cheats are:

• Aimbot
• Kill Aura
• Reach
• Teleportation
• "Waypoint"

Your suggestion is not exactly a bad one. You did state that there's a problem with hackers, which is true. You state a possible solution, but you may need to make some changes to make your idea a possible feature. That's all I feel like saying.

Hackers don't just appear in Skywars. They also appear in other games. It's more of they are commonly found in Skywars.

I'm unaware of water walking but spam hacks aren't that much of a problem. Of course Sky Guardians can't deal with that as well ._.

We have to reduce the cost for Diamond set because emeralds take too long to spawn.

I'll elaborate on your SkyGuardian idea. Personally, i like the skyguardian idea, except the fact that normal players can be given it. Maybe it can only be handled by members of the staff team. For example, if a staff member plays a game of SW, they can use it to see if anyone is using mods/hacks. I also reckon that this should be included in all of the games, maybe not tbb or tbbs .p. , since there are other hackers out there who hack in different games.

for the bedwars, it has been suggested a million times. It may or may not be added in the "Big Update" that's coming this month, or so I heard, but there's a chance it might. It wasn't added immediately, since Vertx has other priorities that are more important, like fixing bugs.

I would recommend to upgrade your watchers because the hackers still hack. So its true then. All hope is lost. Thats why im finding a new server to play. I am hoping for the eradication of hackers. Or wait. Maybe i just need to get a new game. Oh yeah Borderlands 2. I wish that hackers would be gone. Im just a Filipino 11 year old boy. After 5 years (Litteraly) i haven't go online in any server. Do you know how the feeling of it all alone? For 5 years? My neighborhood isnt that much active and i cant play on mondays to Fridays because its school days...

i think vertx has done his best to upgrade the Watcher .p.
i'm pretty lonely irl too, but i manage to cope with it, hope you can too.
we'll all have to say goodbye to minecraft at some point in life.
