you should be able to switch this on/off using the light blue dye in your inv because some people including myself, dont find this useful.

They added it, so that the person who could be pvping someone doesn't open the chest accidentaly while pvping and clicking, some people found this annoying include myself

i know, it was added mainly for mobile players to make it easier for them. i just find it annoying as well, so being able to switch it on/off would be nice.
