Add a dislike button

Their a lot of fake things and u know that all fake things has more dislike for a reason right because it doesn't work

Like I said, more negativity then.
Forums shows who liked who’s post, would dislikes work the same way? I don’t see at all how adding a dislike would benefit anything. Plus, it’s kinda like sending hate, if you see you have more dislikes than likes then you’ll know that quite some ppl don’t like you. And if those dislikes were visible to who pressed that dislike button? Sensitive ppl will have their self esteem destroyed.

Plus, if something is fake, move on. It won’t affect your life like it will end the world. Let ppl post what they want as long as it doesn’t offend or hurt anyone. If you think a person is fake, then actually take it into a private convo otherwise that’s starting public drama.

YouTube ≠ Forums, likes and dislikes can be different and affect certain ppl differently.

Or just say why you don't like something? If theres a button then there is no criticism or anything that indicates why what someone said is wrong. + people could just spam them for no reason (towards staff)

If you don't like a thread, you can just comment your opinion/why you disagree. Imagine going to your profile and seeing how many dislikes you have... Or imagine getting a notification that someone disliked your post. Some people wouldn't care, but others wouldn't feel too great.

I agree, if someone disagrees with a thread or a post, they can ignore it and move on with their day or state their opinions. You're not forced to click that like button, it's just there if you even find the thread interesting or just want to give free likes! Also, as everyone mentioned, people can intentionally spam dislikes which can affect people on the forums.
