about rank tags...

if you have a rank, whether its gold, diamond, or emerald, you should know that to be able to do /fly you have to have your tag showing. its kind've annoying having to turn it on and off if you wanna fly but dont want the tag to show. sometimes it just messes up the color/s your name and chat are, and sometimes it just gets in the way.

so my point of making this thread is, why dont we make it so you can fly with your tag off? if you get reported for "fly hacking" staff can see through the app or whatever they use that you have a rank, plus with the colored text. if you're like me who likes to fly around lobbies but dont like the tag there all the time you should see where im coming from. i dont actually know why they have it where you have to have your tag on to do the command.

i hope someone will take this into consideration pls and ty

I always put my tag on then do /fly then disable it but it’s always a hassle ) : and I wish my yellow coloured dye was in my hot bar instead of always getting it from my inventory ) :

I think the reason why you can't fly without your tag on is because some players might assume you're using flying hacks, however if they see your rank they won't think you're hacking.

i mean i agree but a lot of the newer players think you’re hacking even with your rank tag, unless they know about ranks. i’ve gotten accused of hacking a lot even with my tag showing

i can see both sides, but i do agree it's annoying, especially when you're trying to type the commands super fast and you get a warning not to spam! ;(

btw we can fly and set nick/chat colors without our rank tag showing...

There's a trick for that
I can literally do /fly command and turn off my gold rank and I got kicked by the watcher
Maybe if you find a fly hacker hanging around in the lobby
You should check his/her stats after banning or reporting people.
Edit: We should probably set people too survival when turning off their rank tag.
