Ok, so Valentines Day is coming up. It's tomorrow for me, not sure about you guys lol. Valentines Day is a day to celebrate relationships and FRIENDSHIPS. No, you don't need a date for valentines day. I'm so sick of people saying like they aren't going to come on because they don't have a S.O? Friendships are also celebrated this day. I understand it might make you uncomfortable to be around couples, but that doesn't mean it's alright to bash THEIR happiness. This isn't intended to be rude, but no you don't need a date to enjoy valentines. Spend the day with some of your friends and besties.
 
Apparently someone does if they took the time to make it a holiday.

And yes I can agree, but even still why do I need one day out the year to truly express my love for a person when I have 365? No offense and not trying to get hate, but I kinda find the day a little pointless.... I don't feel like you need one day to show someone how much you love and care for them. Or even to ask out a crush. Valentine's day is still any normal day. Like if you get rejected once, Valentine's day won't make it any different. Idk....it's just a little pointless to me in general.

But I'm not gonna bash the day because it might be the world to someone else. And if they need that day just to express their feelings to a person let them have it.

technically it’s not made up, it has history to it, like halloween, christmas, easter, st patrick’s day, new years, etc. it’s not as big of a deal but it rly is “made up” (my opinion tho)
