So,
When I meet a win10 a have started a thing that I ask them a very simple question, and I want to ask win10 people at the Forums too.

The question is:
Why you are playing bedrock edition and not java edition? :v

It’s simple, we like to bully mobile players!

Just kidding. Java Minecraft imo isn’t as good as Bedrock. Sure, there are good servers and what not, but not as many players. Being a Win10 player for some time, I also find it easier to use Bedrock over Java. There are multiple differences between the 2 platforms, but I think the biggest one is the PvP system.

On Java, clicking over and over again does legit no damage, its waiting, clicking, waiting, clicking, that does damage. Sure, 1.8 PvP still exists, but not that many servers use that version.

Bedrock is essentially 1.8 PvP, something that hundreds of thousands of people prefer over 1.9+ PvP. Also, the bridging system is easier which I find as a HUGE plus.

Other than that, some people made a mistake of buying Win10 before Java, and they don't want to fork over all the dinero.

I play bedrock just to hang out and play with my friends, I don't really like pvping on bl unless I'm with someone helping them out. I only pvp on java because it's more fair and an actual challenge

Lachy thanks for understanding at least thats win10 Vs pe is not fair (because most of the win10 I have met don't say that) :D

TwentyOneEmos I agree with you java PvP have been destroyed after 1.9 but there are a lot kit PvP and minigames that are 1.8. But if you like playing brlns and bedrock edition, I can't stop ya from doing that. And thanks for replying with this massive essay xD

1. Java costs more than bedrock
2. 1.14 shift broke pvp and bridge technique
3. Bully pe players (jk)
4. Less lag
5. Ez to win
6. Update earlier than java

even though it is unfair against PE xD i agree the new system for Java is horrible

guys you can literally use 1.7 / 1.8 on java for pvp and almost all pvp servers use these versions lol

I've played a form of bedrock edition for 4-5 years by now and I have gotten so used to the mechanics, I feel hopping to Java edition is a choice that would better suit me once I can understand the mechanics of Java edition. (Also a nostalgia thing.)

Another reason is simply it's easier to play servers and transfer from device to device on Bedrock edition. I can play a server on my laptop while I'm at home, and play on my phone while I'm out of the house on a road trip or something similar where I'll have a long period to play Minecraft without a Laptop.

My last reason is that I want a better computer to play Java edition on just so I can get Ray Tracing and such. Not anything crazy, but just something that won't completely go haywire if I add something it can't handle.
