Is this “ABCD” treatment bad?

Why are some of the maps in certain games called “Bow E” or “HG A”? Just making a simple game is easier to remember, for example “Japan” (MW), or “Paris” (SW/TSW). And then why do some maps in games have names but others get the “ABCD” treatment? And why do some games have no “ABCD” maps?

I can also agree because in hide and seek I have a few specific maps I love the most...but the names make them really hard to find...and when I think I vote for one it's really another map. Ntm, even when I think I've finally figured out the name of a map I guessed wrong cause my brain tell me "yea gurl" and my eyes tells me "psych stupid" :shifty:

And even for report purposes. Idk how to report a person in game (like say the map) because idk the map. So yes I understand and agree. @ZoeyLynne @AllyMac_ (sorry for the re-tag ally but since you both are captains I added y'all) do you think there is a possible way to add simple names to the maps? :laugh:

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! We've got a winner! Winner, winner chicken dinner! This was indeed the old map system (Most of which weren't made by Brokenlens) I remember in MM I had a list that I kept next to me when I played that was like map D= Clue etc.etc.
As you may have noticed when the maps were redone or new maps have been added they are all named maps. In Skywars, Splatter and MM I don't think any lettered maps are still in play. You are most likely to see them in Hide n' Seek, Hunger Games and possibly OITC/QC.... As we phase out the old maps you will see more and more named maps and less lettered maps.

In Splatter, I thought Map B D E and F are still there?
