A Gem didn't work for me.

While I was in the Splatter lobby, I noticed I got a Blue gem from the previous game.
So I went to open it in the lobby and I also noticed a Red gem there too. I used the Red gem first and got my reward (Ghast Death sound for 3 days), but with the blue gem, all the same effects played out but I didn't see what reward I got or If I even got it...

This was around UTC-6:29 Central Time (Us & Canada) in the Splatter lobby. I was unable to get a screenshot of the chat log. The game closed for no reason. I think I hit the Close button instead of minimize on accident. =n=

I've also noticed that other people have problems with the blue gem too. Maybe its just in certain lobbies, or after previous gems were used?

Yes. This has happened only once to me. It was my first blue gem too. I don't know what kind of stuff I could've got from it.

Quick update. Upon voting for the server and claiming my reward, I got my prize from my MysticBox blue gem. 433 Coins. So there is a solution to this. I just have no clue what causes it.

I have green gems,
I didn't got a reward same thing as blue gem too.

Please read my post again. I just said what I obtained from my gem. I only said I don't know what caused the blue gem to not give my reward in the first place and wait until I voted. :(

This has happened to everyone.

I think you may have solved the problem. xD Everyone's blue gems haven't been working lately (there's been a lot of complaints if you look through forums) for some strange reason. I don't know what to do because I don't use my gems and a blue one didn't work when I used one. Perhaps you may have to vote? No one's ever said you have to vote for a gem. But even if that is not the case, @vertx could fix this.

Alright! That may need more confirmation. If anyone has a defective gem of any kind, try voting if you haven't already.
And just to be safe, I'd save my blue gems in the future until I was able to vote again.
