After spectating a bunch of games of Splatter and also playing a bit myself, I have figured out a few tips so your team can win, and you can get the Best Player award thingy. Idk. xD
Hope these tips help you, good luck and have fun playing Splatter!
Edit:
Also, to go into "squid" mode, you just need to sprint.
To jump really high and get to places (since there's high walls everywhere), click the jump button twice.
Edit 2:
- Firstly, not a lot of people know this, but if you splat glass it may not turn into your team's colour of wool, but it will count as an inked block, and when the opposing team steps on it they will die... without even knowing why (unless they read this). There's one map where if you ink glass it'll actually turn into wool, that's the only map which works properly for this one.
- Secondly, the bow is good for inking blocks, but not a good weapon. You should use the shovel as your weapon, it's much better. The shovel is also pretty good for inking blocks, so I'd say it's better to use the shovel rather than the bow. But it's your choice, so eh.
- Thirdly, a lot of the time when you go near glass, it'll shoot you into the air (unless you're playing on the map I mentioned above, then when the glass becomes wool it won't do anything). If you don't like jumping constantly, stay away from glass.
- Fourth, don't try to cover the whole ground with your colour until it's spotless. You're just wasting your time. Just ink the place, a few uncoloured blocks here and there won't matter. It still counts as a lot of blocks inked.
- Fifth, you shouldn't use the ghast tear (if you don't know, it teleports you to a random teammate). If you do, there's a chance you teleport to a teammate who's cornered, and when two people stand on the same block neither can ink anything, since the other would block the ink from going anywhere.
- Sixth, split up from your team, then you can cover more ground. This is also another reason not to use the ghast tear.
- Seventh, if there's a legend in your game, but you're looking to get the Best Player, then go on the team opposing the one they're in. If you go into the same team, sure, you have a higher chance of winning, but you'll barely cover any ground at all, since the legend will have covered most of it. If you go on the opposing team however, you can ink the blocks the legend inked, and get more a chance to get Best Player.
- Eight, whenever you get the Best Player, you get tops 1000+ coins and near 1000 exp, so if you're looking to get some cash and also level up quickly, and Quake is full, Splatter should be your go-to game.
- Nine, I may do this but I advise you not to. Don't rush. When the game starts, don't immediately hop off the spawning place and start inking everything. You do realise that if you do so, your teammates won't be able to ink much? Because for some reason if you're the first out of the spawning ground, the others might follow you. Some newbies who don't know how to play do that sometimes.
- Ten, during the game, you shouldn't rush either. Since the wool has to turn into a different coloured wool, it may take time. And if you rush, it'll lag you. So don't rush.
Hope these tips help you, good luck and have fun playing Splatter!

- Eleven, never step on clay blocks. They kill you for no reason. ._.
