Sooo whenever i play Skywars, someone is using hacks.
I don't wanna hate this server but..

Why do you have Admins/mods and more? They aren't even online if we need them..
I mean yea, they have a life too..
The watcher is damn useless hes just kicks and SOMETIME ban people... Im sorry for hating this one.

The problem with adding more staff members is, they need people they know they can rely on, they don't want to just pick someone who helped a player and reported a hacker a couple times. They're looking for people who are active, helpful, and kind. And there's even more factors to it than that

I'm pretty sure the developer and owner are always working on improving TheWatcher. But they don't have a very large dev team, just two people, so they have a lot of work to do.

I understand the issue, hackers are a big problem, but there isn't much we (the players) can do except get screenshots and report them on here, and I'm happy doing that, because every little bit counts. Lots of people have complained about this, and it's a real problem, but we need to be patient, I think it's going to change one of these days...

Abilites: You can ban people, if you receive reports from players and forums.

And tbh, I always see hackers in any different game but if minecraft added this anti-cheat systems so that players use hacks the game itself won't let them play in online servers.

The issue with a rank like that, is that people could still abuse it— because they would have the power to ban. Yeah, maybe they'd only ban people they had evidence for, but they could just do it for someone they don't. If someone is responsible enough for that rank, they're responsible enough for Mod...

The Watcher? What did it do? Kicking players with bad ping? It can't even properly detect people with hack clients, just stack up 30 blocks to the sky and jump down, sure it will kick you before you even touch the ground.

Yah,same.Sometimes, when staff is online i say "hacker here" and they ignore me like wtf.I don't like watcher.He literally banned me for no reason.Also the /report it might be useless.Cuz,staff needs evidence.All those words that we say on /report are basically useless.

Here's another question:
Why are the staff not patrolling the server?

Security guards are supposed to patrol and make sure nothing bad is happening. They don't go to McDonalds on their shift and chat with the employee when they should be guarding a bank. They'd get fired if they do that.

The Staff are supposed to:

• Answer questions the community may have.
• Ensure the players are having fun (banning hackers is in this category).

It's not that we don't have enough staff, it's that they don't do their job well in making sure the players are having fun.

I don't think that's gonna cut the amount of hackers down that much.

Even if it is the hacker's fault, the staff still need to do more. As of now, based on what I've seen and remember, they simply act like normal players until the time comes to do some staff stuff.

The goal isn't total annihilation, but a way to diminish the amount enough. I mentioned above that staff aren't patrolling the server. Patrolling the server should be something the staff should do.

I should've said:
"I recommend the staff be patrolling the server"
in my first post on this thread instead of appearing like I'm bashing the staff.

I'm saying "should" a lot.

There are literally endless amount of hackers.Losers don't care for innocents players.All these reports are useless,they will use hax again.You noticed how many threads are in "Players Report".Over 2 thousand or even more.This is why i left bL (the server,not forums).It's not fair.Yeah,ik they have life.
Also, The Watcher.He is kinda useful,but i noticed,watcher bans/kicks players for:

Fly
No clip
Speed
High ping (Which means person is lagging a lot.
For me, if there is a hacker, watcher isn't doing anything.Like here

Like I said... It's definitely an issue, but I'm pretty sure vertx cares about his server, it's his creation. But they have a really small developer team to chew through a ton of work, The Watcher needs improvement, I'm not denying that. ^-^

I just don't think people should be taking it all out on the staff members, at least look at it from their perspective, I'm friends on the server with a few of them, when they're on, they rarely get to finish a game before someone needs their help.

Timezones can cause issues too, they don't have people who can be active 24/7 but they can't just pick someone from Asia who applied and accept them, they need people they can rely on
