This happens because the letters that pop up to help you guess sometimes makes up a bad/dirty word. So it automatically censors. Idk if this is a Minecraft thing or a BL thing tho, since Minecraft came up with the feature to automatically censor bad words, or BL does that to avoid ppl saying bad words based on the words put up on the guess.
For example, if the word is “Flag”, there’s a possible chance the letters “f”, “a”, and “g” will pop up first. And those words come together to create the word “f*g”, which is short for “f*ggot.” Saying “f*g” in chat censors it, resulting the hint turning into “*_**”. Again, idk if something can be done about this, or it’s naturally a Minecraft thing. For now, try to guess even when those star thingies are there. I’m sorry if this is such a long explanation I like explaining everything in detail xD

xD np happy to help yeah it does make the game slightly harder for guessers if they can’t see it xD it turns into star thingies after the last letter that makes the bad word pops up, so try remembering the letters before they turn into stars. Yw for the info and gl in DNG! Oof it’s been so dead and the ppl there hate it when I play it cuz I spam soooooooo much xD
