Because once you get a good job and house you can find friends then when your already happy that you can sustain your life, but if you choose a you might get bad marks and get a bad job so you will have to do a lot of work for whatever you want to buy...

Just because you have many friends, doesn't mean that they're real.
And the result doesn't matter, as long as you understand what is it about. If you're at school studying just for the grade, but not for yourself... then I'm really sorry.
