I think a Staff accepted your friend request and your trying to /join him/her when he/she is in the Build Server

Hmm. When i tried to join ssunsett in the build server it only says in the chat
"You are not able to join your friend"
Doesn't take me there...

The Server you were joining, Was it Brlns or some other server?

I just found out if I delete server and get it back again, the message goes away but there's a weird best builders server in my friends list

As long as you dont join the Build server you'll be Fine, you must have a Builder on your Xbox live friends list. Just ignore it, only Builders and staff Members can join that private server.
