I got another question :)

What grading system does your school use?

Right now I use the normal A-F but in elementary school we had this 1-4 scale. It was a weird system.

0-10
• 0-3.5: poor, weak (F)
• 3.5-5: under average (D)
• 5-6.5: average (C, D+)
• 6.5-8: fairly good (B, C+)
• 8-9: good (A, B+)
• 9-10: excellent (A+)

0-60 => D
60-82 => C
82-92 => B
92-100 => A

we use 0-100% and this outstanding thing

(Outstanding) 90-100% = A-, A, A+
(Very Satisfactory) 85-89% = B, B+
(Satisfactory) 80-84% = B-
(Fairly Satisfactory) 75-79% = C, C+
(Did not meet expectations) Below 75 = D below

x/20
(20/20 goooood, 0/20 you totally wrong or you cheated)

Buuuuuut... Because I am in 3ème (9th), I am going to have a biiiiiiig test at the end of the year:

100 points for maths
100 points for french
50 points for sciences (physic-chemistry, technology and biology (only 2 on the 3 are going to be evalued))
50 points for history-geography

50 points for an oral (about an internship you did during the year)

And 400 points "competences"/continuous assessment

If you have more than 400 points you pass

(I hope it wasn't too long xD)

We use a 1-4 scale currently
basically
4=an A
3=a B
2=a C
1=No Credit/F

but we still get As, Bs, Cs, etc on report cards
its weird because we're in the process of switching to a different system
