Also the theory isn't confirmed

But he'd have felt remorse for killing Ariana, which means that the Horcrux doesn't work; a Horcrux is destroyed when the creator feels remorse for the murder that made it.

Also the Snape thing must be a theory too, because nowhere in the books is he even HINTED at having one

It wasn't intentional tho, well, it was, but Dumbledore wanted him to do it. It even says in the book itself that his soul wouldn't get split from saving Draco and helping Dumbledore ;3;

Okay, but Snape basically only did that on Dumbledore's orders, you think he doesn't hate himself for it? Murder does not automatically form a Horcrux

and voldermort didn't immeadiatly regret trying to kill harry? there are plot holes here too big to sew.

Voldemort never regretted trying to kill Harry... maybe when he was "dying" yea, but he didn't regret it when he was trying to kill Harry and Lily protected him .3. XD

With that point you mean they didn't regret it while firing the spell, dumbledore didn't regret it when he was firing it as he thought it would hit his brother.

Uhh... What? XD He would never kill his brother...

They dueled and their sister was weak, she was sick (She was also a squib) and his brother deflected a curse that hit their sister, killing her with the strain from also being sick.

Grindelwald and them were in a fight, and no one knew who fired the shot that killed Arianna... But it wasn't intentional

But it WAS to hit his brother

Not regret like 'oh no, that killed me, now I'm basically powerless, I shouldn't have done that,' regret like 'oh no, I'm a terrible person, s/he deserved to live, I shouldn't have done that.'
So even if you were trying to kill somebody, but killed your own sister, you'd feel that second thing and a Horcrux wouldn't be made.
HermioneJG
HermioneJG
Also the remorse doesn't have to be immediate, the Horcrux can be destroyed by its creator feeling remorse for the murder that created it at ANY time

True, but moldywarts does have no feelings XD

By the way, I Googled it: so, I am wrong about living horcruxes not being normally possible (although I had admitted I might be). It's possible, but not a good idea because they're more easily destroyed. Fawkes being a phoenix, that wouldn't be as much of a problem, since phoenixes die and are reborn, die and are reborn.

But then we still have the question of who Dumbledore could have killed to form a Horcrux, and I KNOW Cheesy and I are right on the remorse and intent thing.
BlueLeLilDutchAD
BlueLeLilDutchAD
Yeah, but fawx dying would destroy the horcrux which is how he died, so it doesn't even matter XD Anyway, THATS JUST A THEORY, A FILM THEORY. THANKS FOR WAT- READING!

Same. I mean, I don't like that technically their HP theories are based on the movies instead of the books, but since it's mostly accurate I guess it's okay...
Hey, which theme music do you prefer, FT or GT? I like the GT music more
