    I know I'm annoying cause I visit your profile like once a year to chat about whichever grand slam is going on at the time, so please feel free to ignore or delete this message xD but if you DO want to, talk to me about the US open and your predictions for it cause I wanna talk about tennis but I don't really know any other tennis fans on the forums xD

    Like seriously, the way she was ranked outside the world top 300 less than three months ago and now she's high enough to be seeded when the Australian Open rolls around. Also Fernandez singlehandedly defeating the 2nd, 3rd and 5th seeds (and Kerber) en route to the final is an insane achievement. I hadn't heard of her til the US Open but really looking forward to seeing her at more slams.

    It was super great to see Medvedev get a grand slam himself cause I feel like he's been knocking on that door for a while! A thoroughly deserved win and his speech and celebration were equally legendary too xD he's born in 1996, does that mean we can claim him as gen z or is he a millennial??

    I feel like Djokovic will be rested enough and back on form to win at the Aussie Open and hopefully Nadal will be back in time for the French - would really love to see another epic match between the two of them like that French Open semi final a few months back :D

    cr ap, you were right that I wouldn't see this in time xD, but I was hoping for a Nadal vs Djokovic final, but Medvedev's performed pretty well at the start of the season, so I wasn't surprised tbh

    Nadal-Djokovic final would've been SO good (gg to Tsitsipas for knocking Nadal out earlier on, especially from two sets down, it doesn't get much more impressive than that xD) but yeah I agree Medvedev had been playing amazingly with his unbeaten streak going into that final ^^ also NAOMI OSAKA! I'm so freaking excited to see her hopefully win a whole bunch more grand slams!
