I understand what you're saying! I'm a huge believer in humanity and I will always believe that people are good at heart <3 that video sounds beautiful, and I'm sure that police officer is a good man! I'm not an expert on the subject but I do know that the justice systems in most countries are seriously messed up--

I mean, in the UK and US, and probably other countries, black people are always given longer sentences than white people even when they commit the same crime. So even though a police officer might be a kind, caring, anti-racist person, if they arrest a black person then unfortunately they're automatically contributing to an unfair system, even if they don't want to. D: or at least, those are my feelings on it!

Yes it is sad to see that... it's horrible to see people being racially profiled, we should never judge a book by its cover, and we shouldn't judge a person by their appearance either

Wow that sounds so awesome, even if you didn't get to see the actual thing!! A few years ago there was a partial eclipse in the UK and the sky turned a little dark, but it was too cloudy to see the actual eclipse unfortunately xD

Yes! I agree. The people who say that just haven't experienced true online friendships, I, for one know that online friendships are more than amazing! It's truly wonderful to get to talk to all kinds of different people!

Me too! I believe humanity is still there. There are so many people in this world who still have good hearts. I believe so, I mean I don't know how it exactly works here in Australia but the way some people are to others is very bad all over the world and no thanks to how the government is, it's getting worse.

I think you're right. People label certain people just because their of the same race/culture/religion even if their not the same as others, if that makes sense. It's truly heartbreaking to see that society is so diverse in such a way, instead of uniting together, their fighting against each other.

Exactly! Just because of someone's appearance of because of the way they look, we shouldn't judge them on the get-go, a lot of those people turn out to be the nicest people ever!

I know what you mean - last year I reconnected with one of my old school friends whom I hadn't seen for at least 7 or 8 years. it was quite sad because he used to be one of my closest friends but now it feels like we've both drifted apart so far. I wish I held onto some of those friendships

it really is, you're right!! you get to meet all sorts of people from different walks of life, it's a totally different experience from meeting people who live in your local area as you would at school!

agreed 100%. all humans are born good; no one is born hating another person for the colour of their skin or who they love or what they believe in, these are all things that people are sadly taught, and since people learn those things then they can definitely unlearn them too I hope my heart never starts to turn cold.

so true, diversity is what makes humanity so beautiful, it really would be so boring if we were all the same xD and yep, it's incredibly heartbreaking that some people are afraid of the fact that there are people different from them. we're all the same at our cores and we all experience the same emotions. I hope one day we will all get along <3

There's a guy called Brad Montague who is a super inspiring person and he always says that "we're all just human beings who want to be loved", and I think that's a very true statement. sure, some people in this world are kinda horrible, but even the worst people of them are still human beings and they're capable of being kind too

I know what you mean, I had great friendships years ago but they faded over time but I've actually recently reconnected with someone from school who honestly made my school days brighter and I've been really bad and staying up till 6 am texting him •o•

I have to agree! The diversity at schools is amazing, you meet so many different people from different cultures and I think it's a very amazing experience. They'll all have their own set of values and beliefs and getting to know their personality is also very important!

Exactly. People are taught to be heartless and evil, it's not something anyone is born with. People don't seem to like the idea of a diverse community, they don't like certain races and certain religions, to be diverse is to be different, being different is being unique.

We learn to appreciate people for who they are and not because of the way they look, I only wish people understood that, understood that it's not about their colour or what they choose to believe in or what they oblige by or the way they dress.

Humanity is beautiful but some humans make it seem so ugly because of their actions. But one humans action doesn't define every other humans actions.
