“Daddy, can you read me some stories from the storybook?”
“No ___, by the time I finish, it will be midnight…”
“Please?”
“___, I already said no.”
“Pretty please with a cherry on top?”
The man thought for a moment.
“Well, I guess it is the middle of summer. Sure, I will read you some stories.”
The man grabbed a huge book and opened it up. He searched for the best stories and started to read.
Day 1
“Oh bother those trippers! Here - let’s get into the Wardrobe Room till they’ve passed. No one will follow us in there.” But the moment they were inside they heard the voices in the passage - and then someone fumbling at the door - and then they saw the handle turning.
“Quick!” said Hoor, “there’s nowhere else,” and flung open the wardrobe. Both of them bundled inside it and sat there, panting, in the dark. Hoor held the door closed but did not shut it; for, of course, she remembered, as every sensible person does, that you should never, never shut yourself up in a wardrobe.
The person pushed the door open and looked around. Their eyes looked straight at the wardrobe and they smiled. The person slowly walked towards it and all Hoor and Narnia could do was watch in fear. Narnia then remembered that there was a world behind that wardrobe; a world full of creatures and beasts, of magic and wonder. She tried to crawl back but only met with the wooden back of the wardrobe.
The person smashed the door to the wardrobe and hit Hoor’s leg, snapping it in half. She screamed in pain and fell on the floor. The person slammed the hammer down into Hoor’s skull and cracked it. Narnia tried to hide behind the coats in the wardrobe, and at first, it seemed to have worked. The person looked inside but shrugged. She was about to have a silent celebration, but then she saw the person light a match and throw it inside. The coats lit on fire, and Narnia screamed in pain while the other person laughed in enjoyment.

Woo hoo a fairy tale themed season! And what a disastrous way to start the season with an important role already dead!
@Alairina if your nickname was "Alice" instead of "Narnia" I would've had the perfect death for you (hehe)
