After another restless night, the remaining 28 people began to explore the area again, but
with more caution. In the control centre of the carousel, the murderers were sharping their
knives, talking about their kills.
"I had to paint Lynx's face really quickly." one murderer told the other. "I didn't notice he had
another companion nearby, so I got scared and ran for it."
Her partner clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Idiot," he muttered. "You're supposed to wait for them to be alone before going in for the
kill! I got Addilia and Vertx because they were both alone. Speaking of Vertx," he added. "I'm
gonna target one of his closest friends today. She won't see it coming-"
The door flew open with a bang and a breathless Ben ran in.
"Hey," he panted to the murderers, who had hidden their knives. "Can you help me hide here?
I'm playing Hide & Seek; Khriz is coming for me first."
The murderers smiled at each other.
"Sure," said one of them while closing the door behind Ben. "We'll hide you real good."
There was a quick slash and Ben toppled to the ground.

Timeless and Trenz stood next to each other at the top of the slide.
"You first," Timeless gestured to the slide.
Trenz yelled in delight as he slid down, the red and blue backdrop now just a blur. Before
Timeless could slide down after him, someone grabbed her from behind and sliced her throat.
A few seconds later, Trenz screamed when he saw Timeless' lifeless body at the foot of the
slide. The murderer chuckled and leapt down to the back of the slide, not noticing that she left
behind a pink hairband.

Meanwhile, another group of people were racing each other in the mirror maze. Pine listened
for her friend.
"Go!" Maegan's voice echoed through the narrow halls, and Pine took off.
She was a few minutes into the race when she noticed someone behind her. There was a
whistle and then a loud crash as a mirror shattered on her left. Pine briefly looked down at the
broken glass. There was a knife.
Adrenaline pumped through her body as she started sprinting through the halls. It was no
use, though. Pine fell as the knife punctured her left leg, and her screams echoed throughout
the maze.

The three bodies were found and placed next to the dead, their faces all painted white and
red. At the top of the Ferris Wheel, the murderers watched a crowd gather near the bodies.
"23 more to go," one of them said in a low voice before they both made their way to the
growing crowd.
