So on the server, I see a lot of dead games, like quake, dng, etc. These are highly underrated games that deserve attention. It’s not like these games weren’t popular in the past. Quake and dng, etc, imo were pretty popular back then before the xbox update. Instead of building new maps for these games, you guys should improve the quality of the games. I feel that changing or making improvements to dead games should be prioritized. While I appreciate and love the effort the builders have put into the maps, I feel like it’s not necessary right now. By making improvements to certain games, you can give the games the attention that it needs. Some improvements I would make are, adding new modes to games, and making games more fair for all players. For example, games like draw and guess. It’s hard for new players to win or even get onto the leaderboard when competing with players who have memorized a lot of the words already. Maybe you could add a wide variety of words to make the games more fun instead of sticking to the same words. Maybe for quakecraft, you can make the game more fair for both win10 and pe players. In quakecraft, most win10 players dominate the games. While I don’t want to discredit people’s efforts into getting better at this game, i also feel like it discourages new players from playing this game again. Also, for hide and seek, you can make it easier for the seekers. It is impossibly difficult to find hiders in hide and seek. I would suggest making the maps smaller and simpler. But honestly, I think the reason why these games aren’t getting exposure is because it’s not fun for players because of a huge experience gap between old and new players, and just the unfairness in certain games. And i believe there is definitely a lot of room for improvement. Also, making the waiting time shorter will help make dead games alive again. Those few moments where there are actually 4 players in quake or dng make me really happy. But because the timer is set for 2 minutes, people are bound to leave during that time period. And once that 4th person leaves, the timer is stopped and reset. Make the waiting time like 30 seconds? And even if there are 4 people, the waiting time is still 1-2 minutes. I know it sounds stupid of me to complain about waiting 2 minutes for a game to start, but I think that there’s no harm in making the timer shorter. An alternative is making the amount of players per game smaller. By doing this, more games will take place and it’ll be much quicker and fun. Making improvements and adding new things/modes to make the game more fair and fun will, imo, make the games more enjoyable and can help revive the dead games.

sorry if I misunderstood anything or have mentioned some things that were already resolved or hurtful

To make dead games alive they usually enhance the amount of xp you get by x3 or x2. That makes people want to play. And actually, I play dead games when there is new maps :inlove:

but I do agree with the timer thing, if the timers 2 minutes someone always leaves the game and we have to wait for another person all over again :shifty:

I agree with some of your ideas but it doesn't mean the build team should stop building- only Vertx can change the games. I agree about the timer issue- this has happened to me in dead games so many times- 1 minute would be great. Some games probably could be reduced to 2-3 players- I hear QC lovers begging people to come to QC and it used to be so popular. Vertx is super busy so maybe the staff team or the community could try to come up with some new words for draw n' guess and new themes for tbb/tbbs. All in all some good suggestions :)
