[EVENT] Creepypasta Contest!

Hi!

So a small idea came to me, and it said that I should maybe host a contest to see who could right the best creepypasta (a made-up story about something spooky that occurs).

Alright so to start off, here are some things to keep in mind when you make your story;
  • Try not to be too... cliche. There are countless stories that follow under other stories, so please try to be original. However, it can have inspiration!
  • Please try to lower the blood or gore to a minimum, which is one of those cliches.
  • Please censor any cuss words if you choose to do this activity.
  • Please do not copy any other creepypasta works.
  • The first thing to keep in mind isn't a rule, but the other two are (if we were on a different website I would allow it lol).
HERES WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR:
  • few cliches.
  • little violence (sorry).
  • Execution (Method of how the story is written)
  • A classic creepypasta that most people would enjoy.
I think that's about it for now, if there is anything else I need to add, I will ;).

*I should have asked staff before I threw this at y'all, but I thought it would just be something fun to do over quarantine.

*Hey, if you want to work on your writing skills, this is the place for you! Writing and thinking up a creepypasta is so much fun!

*If you write a troll pasta, it will be accepted, but if I get more than 3, I'll do a separate section for those.

*ALL CREEPYPASTAS ARE DUE JUNE 15, WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED JUNE 18 (once I and another judge or two have read through the stories).
*PRIZE: If you are the winner, I will post your story *with permission from you* on this thread, and I may read it out loud *no promise for that :(*.

Oh I should have mentioned what we're gonna "judge".

If you want to help judge, too, that's awesome. You sound like the kind of person to enjoy reading and listening to them ^^

Creepypasta name:The dark

It was a gloomy day outside,rain pouring from the sky,cars honking and people shouting.I was on my old windows 6 computer,running some surveys,when a message came up.I looked at it,and my friend sent me a test,said it helped him or some sh*t.I ignored it but seconds later it came back up again,he told me to take it,he said it would help me.So i opened it up and took some questions.Then it asked me "Would you be scared if the lights went out" I said yes and then I heard lightning strike,then the lights went out.I then thought this was some sick joke,and continued on to the next question.It said does the view outside your window look good,so i looked and saw a man in a black hood staring at me.I closed the curtains and continued with the test.Then it said "Im here" in a red font,when i heard a scream right outside my door.It sounded like a lady yelling,so i went to check on her and...the rest is history.
