Edit:Feel free to submit your own balance patch ideas in the comments below!
For super long I have been trying my hardest on forums to make PVP games balanced. (Mainly by suggesting kit changes), but only one of my ideas has ever been implemented, being the farmer kit nerf, which I got spammed by farmer players about how I made the game even more imbalanced apparently. Anyways, this will be my last and in my opinion, most important suggestion to the server. Not one kit change, but a full blown balance patch! My idea for the patch follows as such...
Fisherman kit: Nerf food down to 4 and 4 fish instead of current 5 and 5
It’s easily the best kit and I main it. Honestly I would be happy if it gets nerfed to 4 and 4 (although anything past that seems overkill)
Buster kit: no changes. Buffing it would make it op, but nerf would make it kinda bad.
Pyro kit: All variants of pyro should have the emerald level of fire power. Seriously unranked fire power sucks. I mean, the main thing about pyro is fire power, and you need to pay to actually have it useful. The armor and fire resist is a good enough buff from regular to emerald rank in my opinion. I think the fire power should also have the fire last longer, but the damage amount shortened by a bit. (Same damage overall in a single hit), because Win10 and Java benefit more from the fire power than mobile, and that would fix it. (I can explain why but it’s pretty complex reason if anyone asks)
Warrior kit: I’d say to make this kit a jack of all trades or something. It’s focus is investing into offense and defense as well. I’d give the kit 16 eggs to give it a projectile too, a small bit of food would be nice, and maybe the axe could be iron sword. (I think this fits the jack of all trades theme)
Knight kit: give it some more food, and make the default kit’s armor a bit better (full gold maybe) also I think emerald has a better shield power than the regular, so that should be the same. (Same argument for that as the argument for pyro).
Frozone kit: I have actually made a thread in the past dedicated to buffing it saying how bad it is. A lot of people wanted the kit to have snowballs (idk why tho), so the kit should have 32 snowballs, it’s armor, default level should have just as good of the ice power as ranked. (Default only turns water to ice), and maybe 3 cooked pork or something like that. This kit would become like a tankier farmer kit, with the price of less ammunition as well as the power which you can meme on enemies with!
Farmer kit: Some players think the nerf was overkill and think the kit should be a bit tankier than it is currently. Because it is an SW only kit it can have a piece of iron armor or something to help with that (iron chestplate), and 1 more food (so the food would be 6)
Builder kit: Should be given leather armor, 2-3 steak, stone sword, and double the blocks. The gear itself isn’t very good, but it is ideal for rushing with the blocks in the early game in SW.
Creeper kit: I used to think this kit was good, but I have realized how bad it’s become. It isn’t bad, but just not good. People tend to use TNT during chaotic melee fights, so I’d say TNT detonation time should be shortened, and for the kit to have a small bit of protection against explosives (idk 30% damage negated from tnt), to suit how many creeper kit players play in the current meta.
Trapper kit: I feel like this kit needs a revamp. It’s focused on cowering in a base and hoping your trap works (it rarely does because traps aren’t easy to avoid) and if it doesn’t, u are done for, so it’s really bad. I think the kit needs to have more aggressive trap options for users to use so they can be in a middle of a fight, and get a trap on an enemy. The cobwebs are great for that, so give the kit more cobwebs, as well as tnt is good. I’d say the kit could have some harmful splash potions to act as a portable trap. Maybe 2 slowness, and 1 harming.
Archer kit: Maybe the arrows could be reduced to like 13, but the kit could get some food (2 cooked cod seems balanced. That is 5 hp able to be healed), as well as mediocre armor. (Maybe full gold set), to make the kit more adapted to the current meta, and to make it less of a skycamp and bowspam, to a still good projectile kit, being decent in melee.
I really hope @vertx responds or something especially saying I’ve been trying to make the game more balanced for a while now. This will probably be my last thread talking about kits, (for a while) although I will make other suggestions.
