Okay sorry for the clickbaity title.
Anyways, I have noticed several differences between TSW and Solo SW in terms of playerbase, and Metagames. Maybe these factors are why people choose Solo skywars over Team skywars, or Team over solo skywars.
In Solo SW:
-A lot of people seem to play buster kit. IDK why, but a good third of the playerbase uses it. I get it's a great, top tier kit, but like other kits exist that are just as useful.
-Solo skywars has better players in general. The average player is a bit better than that of TSW player. Note: TSW has more top players overall although not by much. Still It's not by much, and many top players play Solo as well. Overall, solo players are better.
-Solo players often have lower winrates. This is because their isn't team's on Solo, so there is more players that need to get the big big die to win.
In TSW:
-Players never seem to go for mid until later on in the game. I think this is because players want to meet up with their team. This makes kits more reliant on looting able to do better, such as Pyro, Fisherman, farmer, and knight kit, which can use that to their advantage to go to mid, and loot early. (Although that poses the risk of being unable to meet up with your team, unless you are coordinating with them.
- Oh yeah, in TSW, archer kit exists. (Solo archer kit is rare)
-Projectile kits such as Archer, Farmer, and Fisherman are more common, and for some reason, Pyro kit is more common.
- People tend to skybase more in TSW. Maybe that's because projectile kits are more common???
-TSW is way more social, and it is easier to make friends on TSW. It's also nice because you can team up with friends in TSW.
