Day 7, 1 AM
POV: LAUREN, 14, DIPPINGTION, DAVE’S SISTER.
Its pouring outside. I wonder when Alsie’s coming back.
“Hey Lauren!” I hear my brother say.
“Yeah?” I reply.
“If Dally comes back with Alsie wanna help me throw a party?” Dave says picking something up.
“Sure, I guess.” I say trying to be nice.
Dave goes off to the kitchen, leaving me with decorations.
“Dave can I use the kitchen instead?” I ask.
No answer, I guess I’m left with decorations since the rest of them are out. I string up the decorations slowly, I wonder why these are so heavy.
“Dave, why are these so heavy?!” I yell.
No answer.
“Dave, you’re scaring me! Please just answer!” I yell louder.
I hop off the ladder and come into the kitchen to find him sleeping.
“Really?...” I say quietly upset.
I walk back into the main room to find a random person has busted in. I get scared and run back to the kitchen.
“Lauren! It’s just me, Maegan!” Maegan yells.
“Ahaha... yeah just you...” I say quietly as my heart is racing.
I hear a loud crash from within the sleeping bunkers. It’s enough to wake Dave up.
“Everyone, grab your guns.” I say pulling a pistol out.
We head out to find Kirsten who crashed through the roof laying on the ground.
“Oh my god is she ok?!” Maegan says panicking.
“Don’t spare her. She’ll come back to kill us.” I say as I shoot her.
“Stop! I didn’t mean to-“ Kirsten blurts out before going silent
Oh wow... my first kill.
“Lauren, awesome job!” Dave yells dropping his gun.
“Let’s just go prepare the party...” I say quietly.
“Wait- what about me?” Maegan says as we go over to the main room.
POV: MAEGAN, DIPPINGTION, 13.
I’m trying to catch up to them as they walk away.
“Oh we’re planning a party for when Alsie, and maybe Dally comes back.” Dave says.
“You can help with cooking, or decorations.”
“I’ll help with cooking.” I say determined to make something yummy.
“Alright you need to make little cheese boppers with toothpicks poking into them. Sound good to you?” Dave asks.
“What type of cheese do you mean?” I reply with a question.
“Mozzarella.” Dave replys.
“Alright let me go make that!” I say.
I chop off the ends and middle of a cheese stick, I grab some little toothpicks and place them in.
“How many do I need to make?” I ask Dave as he makes a salad.
“35.” Dave replys.
“Oh wow that’s alot...” I say.
I finish making the sticks when we hear a loud smack.
“What was that?!” Lauren yells.
We get up from the kitchen to find Vertx who fell from the same place Kirsten fell from.
“Do you think he’s still alive?...” I ask.
“Don’t think so. He was 93.” Dave replys picking him up to bring him outside.
Sorry this was so underwhelming compared to Dally in the woods qmq
