My sleep schedule is flat-out awful xD
My body and mind has been adapting to it lately but yeah overall I ain’t getting my 8 hours of sleep for quite a while xD I try to play some Minecraft at night before bed cuz I don’t wanna be inactive and I have lots of friends that live on the other side of the world so they don’t spend time with me often (weird ik) since the whole day I’ve been at school or doing homework. Terrible tho cuz I used to sleep around 10pm and wake up 6-7am, while nowadays I sleep 11-anywhere past midnight and wake up at 6am. It falls down on me hard cuz I end up having a hard time waking up my body so I’m usually too tired to move at all for a few mins, or I end up being sleepy in school (which is a problem cuz one of my teachers noticed that and told my parents which got me in trouble lmao)
but yeah fixing your sleep schedule is a good idea, since as we get older our daily schedule will be more and more complex and need a lot of energy and good sleep to get through the whole day with that.
Some suggestions I have in mind:
-keep whatever distracts you from sleeping away from your reach
My parents sometimes take my devices before I sleep xD I mean, it helps cuz then I don’t have anything to do and have no choice but to go sleep, resulting in sleeping early
-creating and adapting to a bedtime
If you’ve gotten used to sleeping late, then you could get used to sleeping early the same way. If you start sleeping at a certain time, then you’d start getting used to it and sleeping early more.
