The disease is thought to be caused by a previously unknown type of coronavirus that may have first spread to humans from animals at a now-shuttered seafood market in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where most of the cases have been diagnosed. Further cases have been confirmed in the U.S., France, Canada, Australia, and multiple Asian countries, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan and Nepal.
Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that can cause a variety of ailments, among them the deadly severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). Most known coronaviruses cause relatively mild cold-like symptoms, but their ability to jump between humans and animals makes them hard to contain. Chinese health officials have confirmed that the new virus can spread between people, but do not believe it to be as serious as SARS or MERS.

TIPS for protecting yourself and your family from getting affected :
•Wear mask when you're outdoor if your country got affected
•Don't touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
•Avoiding sick people
•Don't travel when you get sick
•Don't eat raw foods, even sushi
•Don't touch wild animals, even street pets
•If you have pets at home, like dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, etc, wash them every 2-3 days ( Make sure you wear mask while washing them )
•Don't let your pets go outdoor
Should we panic?
No. The spread of the virus outside China is worrying but not an unexpected development. It increases the likelihood that the World Health Organization will declare the outbreak to be a public health emergency of international concern on Thursday evening. The key concerns are how transmissible this new coronavirus is between people and what proportion become severely ill and end up in hospital. Often viruses that spread easily tend to have a milder impact.
NOTE :

• Transportation will be closed by Thursday in Mainland China.
• Wuhan, China rushed to build another Hospital in just 6 days, since too many people in Wuhan got affected and not enough rooms for them
• Warmer temperature ( At least 30°C ) are likely to spread the virus faster
