This Little Girl and That Little Boy





Your fifth birthday

Is when you said

"Lets be friends, before the day ends."

Little did I know, that we'd be friends forever,

And that as I got older,

Touching shoulder to shoulder,

That this little girl

Would fall in love

With this little boy

And now as I watch us grow up

I wonder

Will our friendship still stay the same

Or will we

Fade away

'Cause, little did I know

That this little girl

Would fall in love

With this little boy

And all I'm wishin'

Is that you

Would see

Me

Like I

See

You

So when you look at me

Is there something else there that I can't see

Or am I still that same girl

Who fell in love with that boy.
