  1. Take a water bottle, put 1 tablespoon of honey, and put one lemon in it. Preferably a fresh lemon but if you have lemon juice put 1 tablespoon of that as well. Shake it up and drink it....It doesn't taste good but It will help your throat a lot if you practice singing....and if you don't have lemons, grapefruit are a great alternative. Also, great teas to drink are Chamomile Tea, Peppermint Tea, Turmeric Tea, and Green Tea, (these are listed in order of best outcome) and I would add honey and lemons in them, if it's a lot more worse then add a few cough drops. Btw Cut up the lemon in 4 sections and squeeze the juice in the water. You can either add the lemon to your water bottle or leave them out. (They don't have any benefit being in the water really but it's your choice if you'd want to add them. I'm just use to this, having to take care of my family requires learning tons of info! XD even strange or unnecessary information becomes useful. Peppermint, Ginger, Lemon, and Chamomile tea are the best choices to choose from. If you have the extras in your house I would recommend adding them to your drink.*Ginger: helps with filtering out anything in your stomach and has benefits to fighting the common cold *Lemon: Helps with digestion and is a great source of Vitamin C, it prevents specific diseases from entering your body.*Mint: rich in nutrients, help your brain to run and function more properly, and improves colds symptoms.*Cough Drops: Help with throat pain or soreness.*Honey: Full of nutrients and antioxidants, helps with heart health and ingestion, and promotes burn and wound healing. Also, Use peppermint essential oil!! This is one of the quickest ways to fight off a common cold or allergy. <3 And all of this I know from years of usage and experience. <3, Lmao I've retained so much info from the internet I don't even need to use it anymore XD

also here’s something i learned (not for sore throats tho) :

drinking some amount of apple cider vinegar (i think that’s what it is) helps get rid of food poisoning- i had it once and had to chug some lmao. it’s not the best thing but it works

No it's just natural remedies. And lol idk why it added 1. On there.

But yes it's just a lot better on the body when you put natural remedies in it. It could be cultural but idk. It's just something I knew as a kid.

Dude I gotchu I get tonsillitis all the time with tonsil stones and everything! the best solution is chloraseptic spray it’s Sooooooooooo good also eat ice cream, popsicles and cold stuff. Another thing that someone had told me is eating onions either cooked or raw (like on salad) and it kinda helped! If u wanna know something let me know, I’ve had to deal with tonsillitis/strep/tonsil stones for like half my life xP

I was to scared to get my tonsils out so now I just have to deal with it :/ my mom says I’m too old to get them out now (I’m 14) but the doctor says it’s fine till ur 16... the older you are the more painful it is

My tea suggestion has been mentioned, but gargle some salt water. It helps with the pain and if there’s any virus or bacteria that should also help

Personally I’ve never got salt water to work that well in terms of pain. Chloraseptic is literally my saviour xD it freezes the back of your mouth and was the only thing that would give me relief for a few hours
