Remove obsidian and you'll have a decent game.

Literally all mobwars is is getting obsidian, and enclosing your mob in it. In some maps (Like that new one where the mob is inside a tower which has only one entrance.), if you place only like 6 blocks of of obsidian, the mob is 100% protected. With a diamond pick it takes like 10 seconds to mine an obsidian block, and when trying to kill a mob you have to deal with obnoxious 5 yr olds trying to kill u as u do that. I've noticed that on maps in which covering a few blocks with obsidian is an inviable method of protecting a mob, the game is much more fun and actually decent players win instead of noobs, but there's always campers voting for the maps in which obsidian camping is viable and it sucks.
Honestly, the addition of obsidian in MW makes this game, in my opinion, one of the worst games in the entire bedwars genre. With the removal, I think MW could actually be good.

It's what I try to so. Obsidian is acessable via diamonds, and there's loads of gens all around. At least one team will get obsidian before all their mobs are taken out.

I heavily disagree. Removing obsidian would make games somewhat boring, and, to me, obsidian kind-of gives me a challenge, which I like. Plus, in towers, you can just pile up and go through the ladders

There are literally maps where covering a few blocks with obsidian protects the mob right. How do u enjoy it??? It's abnoxious.

I think we should keep it.... I mean it takes a decent amount of diamonds to actually buy a decent amount. And unless you upgrade your diamonds and sit there farming them it still gonna take some time. I even tried that and I still got killed, so I don't think it will make a huge difference (just in my opinion...). And like you said not all maps have obsidian, and most people don't vote for maps in general, they tend to play whatever is chosen by the few who actually want to go to a specific map. So I'd just say vote for maps you would like to do and try to encourage others to vote as well to make it fair for everyone. <3

Ntm depending on how many people is on your team, there are 4 people per round, like 10 seconds of having to mine a block while your team protects you isn't hard. And you only have to mind one block to get to the mob (depending on how they placed them). Like mine straight and then just kill the mob.

Now for maps where the mob is encased in a room that's different. Idk which map it is but I know it's like a wooden room that the mod is inside, and people will cover the ENTIRE room in a variety of blocks, that is annoying yes. And I think in cases like that obsidian shouldn't be added. But if it's like an obsidian box around the mob it's not really that hard to just mine it....

I just get a diamond pic, use someone as a distraction, then rush in. It’s easy, if you know how to tplay the game. It seems like you’ve forgotten what a diamond pic is XD

There is one map, (I think It's spell), where the mob is fully protected after like 4 obsidian is placed. Then, you could just layer more o bsidian onto that, and it becomes abnoxious to deal with. Once it took like 20 sec of mining just to get to the mob on that map.

I think a good idea to deal with this is to have a setting that after you buy a certain amount of the highest durable equipment it becomes inaccessible. Like they only give you enough obsidian to build a small box around your mob and them you can't buy anymore....

And It goes off the player. So instead of your whole team can't buy it, you just can't buy it. And I doubt the rest of the team would be worried about getting a bunch of obsidian blocks.

don’t know why this was revived, but obsidian can make the game harder, but it’s also more fun (except when there were duper’s that had like 2 stacks ). ik the game eggwars (i hope i can say the name of that game- if not i’ll remove it) has obsidian, so why shouldnt mw?

I haven't played MW in a while, but I recall it taking 7 to 10 sec to mine obsidian. With no respawn time, after dying, campers will swarm u sometimes before you have the chance to mine.
